Maisterintutkielmassani tarkastelen suomi toisena kielenä opetusta sitä urallaan ensi kertaa toteuttaneiden opettajien näkökulmasta. Opetus tapahtui ammattiopistossa kotoutumista tukevassa sekä opiskelu- ja työelämävalmiuksia lisäävässä koulutuksessa, joka oli suunnattu läheisessä vastaanottokeskuksessa asuneille aikuisille turvapaikanhakijoille. Kielenopetus järjestettiin pääasiassa integroituna ammatillisiin opintoihin ja sitä toteuttivat niin S2-opettaja kuin ammatinopettajatkin. Narratives in L2 Learner Identity Development

This article focuses on second or foreign language (L2) learner identity and its development as discursively constructed, and we will summarize four studies conducted on this topic. The studies were conducted in the context of L2 teacher education in Finland, and the participants were student teachers (pre-service teachers) or recently qualified teachers of English or other L2s. As data we made use of narratives in different modes (oral, written, visual). The summarizing of the studies will be followed by a joint critical discussion of the theoretical and methodological lessons learned and possible applications. peerReviewed

Si presentano in questo articolo i risultati di una sperimentazione volta a valutare la possibilità di effettuare una combustione HCCI (Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition) stabile mediante l’impiego di miscele di gas naturale (GN) e benzina. La combustione HCCI ha ottime prerogative di basso impatto ambientale, ma la sua realizzazione pone qualche problema di stabilità al variare delle condizioni di carico richieste al motore: lo studio condotto mostra come l’impiego di miscele di GN e benzina, la cui composizione permette di variarne la resistenza all’autoaccensione, consente di ampliare il campo di funzionamento stabile della combustione HCCI. Within each breath, a large diversity of volatiles molecules of the surrounding reaches our olfactory receptors. Despite the chemical complexity of the natural environment, the organisms succeed to represent their world using relevant information carried by single odorants or mixtures. Focusing on the perception of these stimuli, we explored the processes involved in the treatment of this complex information, sometimes supported by mixtures or sub-mixtures. Time series of remotely sensed data are an important source of information for understanding land cover dynamics. In particular, the fraction of absorbed photosynthetic active radiation (fAPAR) is a key variable in the assessment of vegetation primary production over time. However, the fAPAR series derived from polar orbit satellites are not continuous and consistent in space and time.
