Synchronizing Two Superconducting Qubits through a Dissipating Resonator

A system consisting of two qubits and a resonator is considered in the presence of different sources of noise, bringing to light the possibility of making the two qubits evolve in a synchronized way. A direct qubit–qubit interaction turns out to be a crucial ingredient, as well as the dissipation processes involving the resonator. The detrimental role of the local dephasing of the qubits is also taken into account.

BackgroundArterial vasospasm has been ascribed as the responsible etiology of delayed cerebral infarction in patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH), but other neurovascular structures may be involved. We present the protocol for a multicenter, prospective, observational study focused on analyzing morphological changes in cerebral veins of patients with aSAH.Methods and AnalysisIn a retrospective arm, we will collect head arterial and venous CT angiograms (CTA) of 50 patients with aSAH and 50 matching healthy controls at days 0–2 and 7–10, comparing morphological venous changes. Desde hace siglos, el elenco de penas previsto en los distintos Códigos Penales peca de excesivamente básico y las posibles alternativas a la pena por excelencia, la prisión, son de igual modo parcas, sin que ello parezca haber preocupado demasiado al legislador. Improvisational music therapy is a type of creative arts therapy in which clients are encouraged to express themselves through the symbolic and non-verbal medium of music, by creating free music improvisations together with the therapist. A Method of Conversion of some Coefficient Inverse Parabolic Problems to a Unified Type of Integral-Differential Equation

Coefficient inverse problems are reformulated to a unified integral differential equation. The presented method of conversion of the considered inverse problems to a unified Volterra integral-differential equation gives an opportunity to distribute the acquired results also to analogous inverse problems for non-linear parabolic equations of different types.

A Leibniz variety with almost polynomial growth

Abstract Let F be a field of characteristic zero. In this paper we study the variety of Leibniz algebras V ˜ 1 defined by the identity y 1 ( y 2 y 3 ) ( y 4 y 5 ) ≡ 0 . We give a complete description of the space of multilinear identities in the language of Young diagrams through the representation theory of the symmetric group. As an outcome we show that the variety V ˜ 1 has almost polynomial growth, i.e., the sequence of codimensions of V ˜ 1 cannot be bounded by any polynomial function but any proper subvariety of V ˜ 1 as polynomial growth.

International audience; Advanced Telescope for High-Energy Astrophysics is a large-class astrophysics space mission selected by the European Space Agency to study the theme "Hot and Energetic Universe."
