This chapter explores how experientially based pedagogical activities that involve participation in real life service encounters provide occasions for developing L2 interactional competence. The data comprises novice L2 students’ self-recorded interactions in service settings and videorecordings of classroom planning activities and de-briefing discussions, where the students reflect on their experiences. The analysis traces what kinds of occasions for learning arise as the students move between the classroom and the real-world service settings. Darbā noskaidrota vietvārdu cilme un rašanās. Bakalaura darbā pētīti Smiltenes novada vietvārdi – pilsētu, ciemu, ezeru, dīķu, upju, kalnu, purvu, pļavu un pilskalnu nosaukumi. Darbā analizēti 185 autores savākti vietvārdi Smiltenes novadā, tie visi ir sastopami arī citos avotos. Analizējamais materiāls ir salīdzināts ar J. Endzelīna, J. Kavaca vietvārdu vākumiem, kā arī vietvārdu vārdnīcas un vietvārdu datubāzes datiem. Darbā sniegta vietvārdu etimoloģiskā analīze. Pielikumā pievienota Smiltenes novada karte.

With the development of electrical stimulation technology, traditional transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) technology has been found to have the drawback of not targeting a specific area accurately. Studies have shown that optimizing the number and position of electrodes during electrical stimulation has a very good effect on enhancing brain stimulation accuracy. At present, an increasing number of laboratories have begun to optimize tACS. However, there has been no study summarizing the optimization methods of tACS. The paper presents the setting up of a mathematical model for membrane bioreactor able to simulate physical-biological wastewater organic removal. The model is basically divided into two sub-models: the first sub-model is basically devoted for the simulation of the biological features and the second one for the physical processes.
