OBJECTIVE Despite limited evidence, electrical cardioversion of acute-onset atrial fibrillation (AAF) is widely performed in the emergency department (ED). The aim of this study was to describe the effectiveness and safety of electrical cardioversion of AAF performed by emergency physicians in the ED. METHODS All episodes of AAF electrically cardioverted in the ED were retrieved from the database for a 10-year period. Most patients not already receiving anticoagulants were given enoxaparin before the procedure (259/419). In the Sahel, wind erosion occurs particularly in cultivated fields. This work was leaded at Banizoumbou in Niger where wind erosion fluxes have been measured for six years. The aims of this study was i) to monitor crop residues cover on traditional field and to quantify its influence on wind erosion ii) to characterize the impacts of soils crusting on erosion flux, iii) to characterize the impact of herbaceous strips on wind flux. Results showed that crop residues efficiently prevent cultivated fields from wind erosion during the dry season (January to April) and considerably reduce erosion fluxes at the beginning of the rainy season (May to July). Classification in point patterns on linear networks under clutter

The problem of features detection under present of clutter in point process on linear networks establishes a methodological and computational challenge with multiple kind of applications as traffic accidents among other. Previous works related to the same topical but developed in more simpler geometries tackles the issue of the clutter removal through the distance of nearest-neighbour and show good results with high classification rates. We extend this procedure to the linear networks motivated by the classification of the traffic accidents on the road network of a city. Simulations demonstrate the performance of the method.

Darbā ir aprakstīts Flutter lietotnes “FastMarket” izstrādes process, kas sastāvēja no programmatūras dokumentācijas izstrādēs, projektējuma, kā arī pirmkoda izstrādes un testēšanas dokumentācijas izveidošanas un izpildes. “FastMarket” lietotne ļauj lietotājiem izveidot un publicēt savus sludinājumus kā arī atrast citu lietotāju publicētus sludinājumus un filtrēt tos pēc kategorijas. Viena no atšķirošam īpašībām ir čats, kas ļauj sazināties ar konkrēta sludinājuma īpašnieku tieši lietotnē, bez kādas ārējas lietotnes palīdzības. Lietotne tika izstrādāta ar Flutter ietvari, kas ļauj kompilēt to gan uz iOS, gan uz Android platformām, kā datubāze tika izmantots Firebase serviss.

Autors salīdzina divu atšķīrīgo rīku skatu būvēšanas pieejas, to priekšrocības un trūkumus. Bakalaura darba “Flutter un SwiftUI renderēšanas salīdzināšana iOS ierīcēm” ietvaros tiek analizētas un paskaidrotas rīku renderēšanas pieejas.
