[EN] The multidimensional assignment (MDA) problem is a combinatorial optimization problem arising in many applications, for instance multitarget tracking (MTT). The objective of an MDA problem of dimension $d\in\Bbb{N}$ is to match groups of $d$ objects in such a way that each measurement is associated with at most one track and each track is associated with at most one measurement from each list, optimizing a certain objective function. Pseudo-Abelian integrals along Darboux cycles

We study polynomial perturbations of integrable, non-Hamiltonian system with first integral of Darboux-type with positive exponents. We assume that the unperturbed system admits a period annulus. The linear part of the Poincare return map is given by pseudo-Abelian integrals. In this paper we investigate analytic properties of these integrals. We prove that iterated variations of these integrals vanish identically. Using this relation we prove that the number of zeros of these integrals is locally uniformly bounded under generic hypothesis. Objective: Accumulating evidence indicates that social networking sites play an increasingly important role in young people’s drinking behavior. The present study adds to this research by assessing the conditionality of the relationships between exposure to and self-sharing of alcohol-related content on social media and adolescents’ drinking behavior. International audience; The taxonomical recognition of microscopic biological parti- cles such as pollen and spores is relevant for medical and aerobiological applications. Focusing on an accurate and automatic vision-based pollen recognition system, we propose a method for classification of pollen aper- tures based on bag-of-words strategy, with the ability of learning new types from different taxa without the need of new algorithms. Results demonstrate suitable performance and ability to add new taxa.

Abstract In 2013, Andra (French National Radioactive Waste Management Agency) drilled boreholes to the south-east of the Paris Basin, to characterise Aptian and Albian clayey formations, including the ‘Argiles a Plicatules’ Formation dated as early Aptian. One of these boreholes intersected this formation with an excellent recovery allowing detailed biostratigraphy (ammonites), sedimentology, clay mineralogy, isotope geochemistry (δ13Corg) and Rock-Eval analyses to be performed. The paper presents the results of an integrated environmental analysis on the fill of an exceptionally well-preserved mid-14th century cesspit from the historic centre of Riga (Latvia, eastern Baltic). Palynological, plant macrofossils and invertebrate analysis yielded important new information about the use of plants by the indigenous community living within the medieval city, including their socio-economic status. The taphonomy of the botanical and invertebrate data is considered to largely reflect the input of undigested food waste and human faecal material with a subordinate component derived through the input of cereal waste-products. This paper first tries to determine the best way to approach most probable number (MPN) counting for young scientists. It then looks at the anthropogenic indicators and the different types of human activity that can reveal the studied taxa. Among the different fungal spores, coprophilous fungi are very useful to evidence pastoral activities and grazing pressure. Abstract A Greenlandian (Early Holocene) palaeochannel of the Meuse River is described from Autrecourt-et-Pourron in the Ardennes region of northern France. During the Younger Dryas, fluvial deposits represent a high-energy, sinuous palaeochannel, but at the onset of the Holocene, progressive channel abandonment resulted in the establishment of a low-energy meandering river system. Well-dated studies using palynology, carpology, malacology and geomorphology reveal a Greenlandian succession of changes in fluvial dynamics and vegetation. Abstract Previous findings regarding the Last Glacial Maximum LGM summer temperature depression (maxΔT in July) on the Tibetan Plateau varied over a large range (between 0 and 9 °C). Geologic proxies usually provided higher values than palynological data. Because of this wide temperature range, it was hitherto impossible to reconstruct the glacial environment of the Tibetan Plateau.
