El objetivo principal de esta tesis consiste en analizar la presencia de María Magdalena en las producciones audiovisuales del periodo comprendido entre 1897 y 2014. Dichas producciones proceden de Europa, Estados Unidos, Canadá y México. El marco metodológico general a partir del que se plantea el análisis es la iconología, entendida como Zwichenraum o tierra de confluencias. En concreto, la noción de continuidad y variación, iniciada por Aby Warburg y continuada por Fritz Saxl, es la principal cuestión teórica en la que se basa la aproximación. The ladybird homeobox genes are essential for the specification of a subpopulation of neural cells

AbstractIn Drosophila, neurons and glial cells are produced by neural precursor cells called neuroblasts (NBs), which can be individually identified. Each NB generates a characteristic cell lineage specified by a precise spatiotemporal control of gene expression within the NB and its progeny. Here we show that the homeobox genes ladybird early and ladybird late are expressed in subsets of cells deriving from neuroblasts NB 5-3 and NB 5-6 and are essential for their correct development. Our analysis revealed that ladybird in Drosophila, like their vertebrate orthologous Lbx1 genes, play an important role in cell fate specification processes. PREDICTION OF HARVEST TIME IN PEACH [PRUNUS PERSICA (L.) BATSCH] FRUIT USING THE DA-METER

The aim of this work was to define the most appropriate time of harvesting early ripening peach fruit using destructive and non-destructive quality indexes such as the index of absorbance (IAD), measured with the DA-Meter, a portable equipment able to measure the degradation of chlorophyll in the pericarp. In this context our research was carried out in 2009 and 2010 on several peach cultivars. Total soluble solid content increased while flesh firmness and total acidity decreased with IAD values, but no significant correlation was found between destructive and non-destructive parameters.

BACKGROUND: Partial rootzone drying (PRD) is a novel deficit irrigation technique consisting in the alternated wetting of only one side of the rootzone, which induces partial stomatal closure and increased water use efficiency. The effect of PRD and rootstock vigor on ‘Pink Lady’ apple fruit quality and aroma profile was studied using solid-phase micro-extraction in headspace and gas chromatography/mass spectrometry. RESULTS: PRD irrigation generally did not affect quality attributes, whereas it influenced the aroma of the apple fruit. In particular, PRD improved the aroma of the fruit flesh, while it decreased the volatile fraction in the peel, where most of the compounds are concentrated.…

Tutkielman tarkoitus oli selvittää, millä tavoin poplaulaja Lady Gaga käyttää yhteisö- ja mikroblogipalvelu Twitteriä aktiiviseen julkisuuden harjoittamiseen. Aineisto koostui 207 Lady Gagan julkaisemasta tweetistä eli mikroblogimerkinnästä, jotka kerättiin Twitteristä valitsemalla satunnainen kahden kuukauden mittainen ajanjakso, joka oli tässä tapauksessa marras-joulukuu 2012. Dekalog zakazuje kultu obrazów. Jednak chrześcijanie zinterpretowali Wcielenie Boga w Jezusie Chrystusie jako zniesienie zakazu tworzenia obrazów. Cztery sobory powszechne wypowiedziały się na temat obrazów w Kościele. Pojęcie obrazu i ikony w pierwszym tysiącleciu chrześcijaństwa było takie samo. Chrześcijanie prawosławni zawęzili znaczenie ikony tylko do obrazu tworzonego na desce za pomocą określonej techniki i estetyki.
