In this paper, we investigate a resource allocation and computation offloading problem in a heterogeneous mobile edge computing (MEC) system. In the considered system, a wireless power transfer (WPT) base station (BS) with an MEC sever is able to deliver wireless energy to the mobile devices (MDs), and the MDs can utilize the harvested energy for local computing or task offloading to the WPT BS or a Macro BS (MBS) with a stronger computing server. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli selvittää millaisena ammattioppilaitoksen esteettömyys ilmenee erityistä tukea tarvitsevan ja oppimisvaikeustaustaisen opiskelijan ja hänen opettajiensa kokemana. Tutkimuksessa tuotiin esille opiskeluympäristön toteutumista, opiskelijoiden ja opettajien kokemuksia esteettömyydestä ja oppimisen ongelmista. Mielenkiinnon kohteena olivat myös osa-alueet, joista esteettömyys kohderyhmien ko-kemuksissa rakentuu. Ammattitaitovaatimukset ovat kasvaneet ammatillisessa oppilaitoksessa. This chapter uses the theoretical framework of sense of belonging to explore how eldercare workers from Finnish service housing units for older people describe the use of digital devices and applications in their work and the work practices that relate to their sense of belonging. The study is based on interview data (n = 25) that was collected in 2018 for a study on digitalisation of eldercare. The chapter asks: what does a sense of belonging mean for care workers’ agency in a digital era? Tutkielman tarkoitus oli selvittää monimutkaisen sisällönhallinnan ympäristön käyttäjävaatimusten määrittelyn haasteita. Tutkimusongelma nousi esiin pitkälti julkishallinnon pyrkimyksistä tietovarantojen avaamiseen ja kehittämiseen avoimilla ratkaisuilla. Tässä kvalitatiivisessa tutkimuksessa selvitettiin YVA-lain asettamien tavoitteiden toteutumista, ympäristövaikutusten arvioinnin merkitystä sekä ilmeneviä eroja ja yhtäläisyyksiä biokaasulaitoshankkeissa toteutettujen YVA-selostusten välillä. Teoriapohjana tämän tutkimuksen kohdalla on ympäristövaikutusten arviointi, joka esitellään monipuolisesti tutkimuksen päämäärä ja tavoitteet huomioiden. This study focuses on the use of a “digital coach”, within a specific population, young elderly people. This research explored how the use of a digital coach would affect self-efficacy related to physical activity and exercise among young elderly. This study aims to further promote the understanding of the antecedents of the acceptance and use of digital wellness technologies among elderly people through a follow-up to our two prior studies, one which examines the potential longer-term temporal changes in the use intention of digital wellness technologies and its antecedents in the case of the young elderly segment and physical activity logger applications.
