[EN] The application of low ozone dosage to minimize the problems caused by filamentous foaming was evaluated in two bioreactors of an urban wastewater treatment plant. Filamentous and nitrifying bacteria, as well as protist and metazoa, were monitored throughout a one-year period by FISH and conventional microscopy to examine the effects of ozone application on these specific groups of microorganisms. la grotta di S. Teodoro è uno dei giacimenti paleontologici più importanti della Sicilia e ha reso, nel tempo, importantissime informazioni circa la paleontologia e la paleoecologia della Sicilia del Pleistocene. La grotta è altresì nota per il giacimento di resti umani inumati ascrivibili alla parte finale di questo periodo.Vengono qui presentati una serie di nuovi dati relativi alle indagini antropologiche, morfometriche e strumentali (TAC), nonchè alla cronologia assoluta dei resti umani ottenuta mediante datazione al 14C.Si presentano inoltre i dati preliminari del lavoro di revisione della collezione scheletrica umana relativa al sito.

The article focuses on a fundamental decision of Italian Constitutional Court, regarding the threshold of 4% for the election of italian members of European Parliament. The Court concludes it is not unconstitutional because of the central role that a threshold plays to reduce the political fragmentation within the Assembly.

Questo contributo offre un breve commento all'articolo 56 della Costituzione italiana, avente ad oggetto la Camera dei Deputati, la sua natura elettiva, i principi e le regole per la sua composizione. Viene preso in esame il testo costituzionale del 1948 ed il significato delle elezioni democratiche; il rapporto fra eletti ed elettori e le revisioni costituzionali del 1963 e del 2001; il problema della forza prescrittiva dell'articolo 56: l'esigenza di adattamento della Costituzione all'evoluzione del quadro politico; l'articolo 56 della Costituzione come limite per il legislatore in materia elettorale: il ruolo della magistratura e della Corte costituzionale.
