Kirjallinen tuottaminen on olennainen osa kielten kouluopetusta Suomessa. Perinteisesti kirjalliset tuotokset arvioidaan ja opettaja antaa niistä palautetta. Tämä kandidaatin tutkielma selvittää yhden lukioryhmän osalta, millaista palautetta opettaja antoi heidän kirjoittamistaan esseistä ja kuinka oppilaat kokivat tämän palautteen. Tutkielmassa on käytetty sekä laadullisia että määrällisiä tutkimusotteita. Ensin oppilaat kirjoittivat lukiokurssillaan esseet, jotka opettaja arvosteli ja antoi niistä kommentteja. Artykuł ma na celu przybliżenie zagadnień związanych z różnym pojmowaniem koncepcji stylu na Wschodzie i na Zachodzie. W ujęciu lingwistycznym zestawione zostaną określenia dotyczące stylu występujące w stylu osobniczym badacza stylu w języku polskim i definicje stylu zawarte w znaczeniu ideogramów języka chińskiego mandaryńskiego w wersji tradycyjnej. Konkretne realizacje, spotykane w tekstach specjalistycznych, zestawione zostaną z semantyką odległego geograficznie i strukturalnie języka, by ułatwić odpowiedź na pytanie o indywidualistyczny i uniwersalistyczny - uzależniony bądź nie od kulturowych czynników - charakter myślenia ludzkiego, ujawniający się w odniesieniu do koncepcji stylu.

In modern Slavic linguistics, along with the terms "religious discourse", "religious style", the term "religious language" functions, the appearance of which became possible thanks to the works of the Polish linguist Z. Klemensevich. At the initial stages, the study of the religious language was, as a rule, reduced to the analysis and description of vocabulary. Currently, scientists are interested in other problems related to this phenomenon, including genres, styles and variants of religious language.
Effects of contextual variables on strategic investment decision-making styles: An empirical study from Pakistan.

There is a gap in the literature of strategic investment decision making (SIDM) concerning the links between context variables, infrastructure and SIDM practices (or SIDM styles) in developing countries. This research aims to fill that gap. Survey data (N = 128) from the manufacturing companies listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange was collected via an e-mailed questionnaire and visits to the companies. Data are analyzed with factor analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results reveal what we call four different SIDM styles (or emphases): managerial power-, financial analysis-, top management-, and strategy-based investing. As databases make Corpus Linguistics a common tool for most linguists, corpus annotation becomes an increasingly important process. Corpus users do not need only raw data, but also annotated data, submitted to tagging or parsing processes through annotation protocols. One problem with corpus annotation lies in its reliability, that is, in the probability that its results can be replicable by independent researchers. This dissertation explores how professional identity is experienced by teachers in Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) instruction. In particular, it addresses professional identity in relation to two immediate contexts of teacher activity, i.e. that of the classroom and that of the collegial community. In addition to exploring how these two sides of the professional self give rise to a broader understanding of professional identity, this dissertation also explores aspects of professional agency and the negotiation of emotions in their work.
