Population of neutron-rich nuclei around 48ca with deep inelastic collisions

The deep inelastic reaction 48Ca+64Ni at 6 MeV/A has been studied using the CLARA–PRISMA setup. Angular distributions for pure elastic scattering and total cross-sections of the most relevant transfer channels have been measured. The experimental results are compared with predictions from a semiclassical model, showing good agreement for the presently analyzed few neutrons transfer channels. Effect of the mechanical harvest of drupes on the quality characteristics of green fermented table olives

Background: Because of damage caused by mechanical harvesting, the drupes for table olive production are traditionally hand harvested. Until now, no data have been available on the microbiological and chemical features of mechanically harvested drupes during fermentation. Results: Drupes mechanically harvested and inoculated with Lactobacillus pentosus OM13 were characterized by the lowest concentrations of potential spoilage microorganisms. On the other hand, drupes mechanically harvested and subjected to spontaneous fermentation showed the highest concentration of Enterobacteriaceae and pseudomonads during transformation. Sistēma kalpo kā saikne starp notikumu organizētājiem un interesentiem, kas vēlās apmeklēt pieejamos notikumus kopīgi ar citiem sistēmas lietotājiem savas iniciatīvas un interešu vadīti. Šī darba mērķis ir aprakstīt sistēmas sastāvdaļas, ar kuru palīdzību lietotājs ir spējīgs veikt tam paredzētās sistēmas pamatfunkcijas.

Technical challenges in the construction of the steady-state stellarator Wendelstein 7-X

The next step in the Wendelstein stellarator line is the large superconducting device Wendelstein 7-X, currently under construction in Greifswald, Germany. Steady-state operation is an intrinsic feature of stellarators, and one key element of the Wendelstein 7-X mission is to demonstrate steady-state operation under plasma conditions relevant for a fusion power plant. The EU Regulation 1169/2011 also known as food information to consumers’ regulation introduced two advancements - a mandatory nutrition declaration for prepacked food as well as mandatory allergen labelling for prepacked foods plus minimum requirements for allergen representation for non-prepacked foods. The article analysis the interaction between the relevant EU laws and Member State regulations. For this study there were four Member States chosen – Latvia, France, the Netherlands and the UK.
