This paper aims to identify, discuss and analyze students’ collaboration factors related to distributed leadership (DL), which correlates with interaction quality evident in idea generation. Scripting computer-supported collaborative e-learning (CSCeL) activities based on DL can scaffold students’ interactions that support collaboration and promote idea generation. Furthermore, the associated tools can facilitate collaboration via scripting and shed light on students’ interactions and dialogical sequences. Distributed Leadership and the Visibility/Invisibility Paradox in On-line Communities

This paper analyzes the role of distributed leadership in three on-line communities, reflecting on an observed visibility/invisibility paradox in leadership within these communities. Leaders who downplay their seniority and assume a degree of invisibility, allocating discretionary powers to subordinate levels in an organizational hierarchy, may facilitate the emergence of distributed leadership. Yet, simultaneously, leader-led relations are enabled by high leadership visibility. Most proteins destined for secretion in the extracellular matrix are characterized by the presence of N-terminal signal peptides which direct their translocation into the endoplasmic reticulum, they are subsequently transferred to the Golgi apparatus and then secreted in the extracellular space. A growing number of secreted proteins, are being identified which, however, lack signal peptides allowing their entrance into the endoplasmic reticulum. They include the inflammatory cytokine interleukin 1b, galactins, macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF), acid and basic fibroblast growth factors (FGF-1, FGF-2) and Sphingosine kinase1(SphK-1).
