Leadership and meaningful work: The possibilities and challenges of the Vocational Meaning and Fulfillment Survey In this study we examined how leaders perceive meaningful work and if the new Vocational Meaning and Fulfillment Survey (VMFS) could be used as a leadership tool in organizations. The data were collected through 22 semistructured thematic interviews and analyzed with a phenomenographic approach. Learning teamwork through a computer game: for the sake of performance or collaborative learning?

AbstractOur study examined using a computer-based learning game as a tool to facilitate teaching and learning teamwork skills. The game was applied to an undergraduate level human resource management course at a business school in Finland. We focused on students’ experiences and key learning outcomes of collaborative learning of teamwork skills through the game, and our analysis highlighted two key features of learning outcomes. Tämän tutkimuksen tavoitteena on selvittää, millaisia ilmenemismuotoja huono johtaminen saa lääkärikontekstissa. Aineiston keruumenetelmänä käytettiin puolistrukturoitua haastattelua (n=50). Kaikki aineiston informantit ovat lääkäreitä. Tutkimusaineisto analysoitiin sisällönanalyysin avulla, jonka tuloksena syntyi huonon lääkärijohtamisen teemoittelu. Tätä teemajakoa täsmennettiin myös aiemman tutkimuskirjallisuuden avulla.Tutkimuksen tuloksilla toivotaan voitavan kehittää lääkäreiden työhyvinvointia ja lääkärijohtajan työtä terveydenhuollon muuttuvassa toimintaympäristössä siten, että lääkäreillä olisi tehtäväänsä motivoituneita ja tehtävässään viihtyviä lääkäreitä johtajinaan. Suomalaista varhaiskasvatusta ovat viime vuosina muokanneet monet yhteiskunnalliset ja rakenteelliset muutokset. Hallinonalan muutos opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriöön, uusi varhaiskasvatuslaki (540/2018) sekä uudet velvoittavat ohjausasiakirjat ovat määritelleet varhaiskasvatuksen vahvasti osaksi kasvatuksen ja opetuksen toimialaa aiemman päivähoidon sosiaalipalvelupainotuksen sijaan.
