W okresie PRL-u z inicjatywy PZPR powstało w 1971 r. technikum dla przodujących robotników. Uchwała nr 124 Rady Ministrów z dnia 1 lipca 1971 r. dała robotnikom możliwość zdobycia kwalifikacji zawodowych i uzyskania świadectwa dojrzałości po dwuletnim okresie edukacji. Takich szkół powstało ponad 30 w skali całego kraju. Do placówek tych kierowano wyróżniających się aktywną postawą społeczno-zawodową robotników, absolwentów zasadniczych szkół zawodowych. Celem ich było przygotowanie dla gospodarki narodowej dobrych fachowców, ale również aktywnych działaczy partyjnych. Rozpoczęły one pracę dydaktyczną we wrześniu 1971 r. Economic policy uncertainty effects for forecasting future real economic activity

Recently introduced measures for Economic Policy Uncertainty (EPU) included in the data from 1997 - 2016 have a role in forecasting out-of-sample values for the future real economic activity for both the euro area and the UK economies. The inclusion of EPU measures, either for the US, the UK or for overall European economies, improves the forecasting ability of models based on standard financial market information, especially for the period before the 2008 global crisis. This data was collected during an short-term incubation experiment in March 2017 that investigated the response of a surface plankton community to upwelling. This experiment was carried in the framework of the SFB754-funded KOSMOS mesocosm study that took place in La Punta, Callao, Peru between February-April 2017. A total of six different treatments were used to disentangle chemical and biological characteristics of deep water that influence surface plankton blooms: 2 different deep water sources with different nutrient concentrations; 3 treatments to distinguish the effects of inorganic nutrients, organic nutrients and deep water microbial populations. Distorsioni nel ricordo della spesa dei turisti: alcune evidenze empiriche

The paper presents some remarks about the distortion of survey data that occurs when tourists are asked to recall the amount of their expenditure for the holiday. The difference between the concepts of perceived expenditure and reminded expenditure is stressed through a review of the relevant literature. An econometric analysis of PRIN 2007 survey data is then presented, with the aim of estimating the personal characteristics of the respondents that are most likely to do errors in remembering their expenditure.
