Unsupervised change detection with kernels

In this paper an unsupervised approach to change detection relying on kernels is introduced. Kernel based clustering is used to partition a selected subset of pixels representing both changed and unchanged areas. Once the optimal clustering is obtained the estimated representatives (centroids) of each group are used to assign the class membership to all others pixels composing the multitemporal scenes. Different approaches of considering the multitemporal information are considered with accent on the computation of the difference image directly in the feature spaces. Artificial neural networks for predicting dorsal pressures on the foot surface while walking

In this work, artificial neural networks (ANNs) are proposed to predict the dorsal pressure over the foot surface exerted by the shoe upper while walking. A model that is based on the multilayer perceptron (MLP) is used since it can provide a single equation to model the exerted pressure for all the materials used as shoe uppers. Five different models are produced, one model for each one of the four subjects under study and an overall model for the four subjects. The article is devoted to evaluate the correlation among dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia in students with learning dysabilities. There is a point of view that students with learning dysabilities mostly have dyspraxia, but not all of them have dyscalculia or dyslexia. There is a necessity to have theoretical findings and state criteria for evaluation to carry out empirical research. Students with learning dysabilities have difficulties in many areas, but it is not possible to assure that all of them meet the same problems.
