The catalogue is dedicated to the artistic research of Yumiko Kimura (Tokyo, 1961) and Jun Sato (Tokyo, 1947). The catalogue was made on the occasion of the exhibition "Geometric Universes", which presented a selection of works by the Japanese artist in the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento and then at the FAM gallery with the patronage of the Museum of Geometric and MADI Art in Dallas and the inclusion in the official celebrations of the 150th anniversary of relations between Japan and Italy.

Il contributo prende in esame per la prima volta una selezione di fotografie inedite che documentano opere pittoriche del pittore siciliano Antonino Leto per lo più sconosciute. Indagando l'interscambio tra pittura e fotografia in Italia alla fine del XIX secolo, l'articolo punta l'attenzione sul rapporto di Leto con il nuovo medium e consente di ampliare il corpus di dipinti del pittore anche alla luce degli scambi con i collezionisti risalendo a un fittissimo intreccio di scambi con galleristi e fotografi tra i protagonisti della cultura dell'epoca. Si analizzano gli interessanti manufatti d'argento e le preziose gioie elencati negli inventari stilati dopo la morte di Cesare Moncada, che aveva sposato Luisa Luna e de Vega. Emergono interessanti tipologie di manufatti messi a confronto con altri simili pressoché coevi. We analyse the interesting silver artefacts and the precious joys listed in the inventories drawn up after the death of Cesare Moncada, who had married Luisa Luna and de Vega.
