This essay presents the initial hypothesis of the diversity of cases shown by Lope de Vega’s theatre, that multiply perspectives and different endings from the same basic types of conflicts and designs, and tries to verify them with contemporary thought. Reflections on the significance of substratum and superstratum in the genesis and evolution of Catalan. The author considers how the recourse to the pre-Roman susbtratum in the etymological interpretation or in the historical and critical grammar has been carried to excess both by those absolutely against it and by those who take it as an all-explaining panacea. He also points out that, conversely to the interest in substratum, the Germanic superstratum has not received the attention it deserves in the genesis of Catalan because of various prejudices, some of them of an ideological kind.

This paper describes, from an intra-dialect point of view, the phonological traits of pronoun clitization in Algherese. En el marc de l’"Atles Multimèdia de Prosòdia de l’Espai Romànic", el grup AMPERCAT desenvolupa des de la Universitat de Barcelona i des de l’any 2003, l’estudi de la variació dialectal de la prosòdia del català i del castellà en el domini lingüístic del català. Aquest treball constitueix una síntesi dels resultats principals trobats fins al dia d’avui en la majoria de punts estudiats de la nostra llengua pel que fa a l’entonació. En català és, tradicionalment i juntament amb la prefixació, el mecanisme és recurrent de construcció de neologismes. In this article the results of a quantitative and qualitative research into person deixis are shown and, generally, the ones related to the participative inscription, within the oral academic genre of the master class. In order to do so, this discursive genre has been contrasted with colloquial oral conversation and academic prose.
