Metastasio wrote a limited number of sonnets, and in various letters expressed deep perplexities about the value and the efficacy of this poetic form. A recent edition of his “Poesie”, edited by Rosa Necchi in 2009, offers the twenty-nine texts approved by the author as well as six more ones discovered from the end of the Eighteenth Century up to recent times. The article adds to this corpus two forgotten sonnets included in epithalamic anthologies printed in Naples in 1717 and in Rome in 1722 respectively, and illustrates their unexpected subsequent re-uses.

Through the analysis of some poems of the vast production of Pier Paolo Pasolini I try to summarize some traits of the expressiveness of the poet, circumscribing its contours within the terms of the generational dialectic. A dialectic that assumes the features of an unresolved confrontation that sees the Poet withdrawing, self-exclusion, renouncing integration and beating the path of the outcast, who nourishes the victim's myth and assumes the connotations of the scapegoat to the extreme. In the complex symbolic network that Pasolini intertwines with reality, the relationship with the Mother and the Father takes on a peculiar meaning because it defines the impossibility of a transgeneration…

Il contributo analizza due poesie del tardo Montale, "Piove" (Satura) e "Leggendo Kavafis" (Quaderno di quattro anni), allo scopo di comprendere i procedimenti di riscrittura del poeta genovese. Attraverso gli studi sull'intertestualità (Bachtin, Kristeva, Genette...) è possibile comprendere come Montale si serva di processi di travestimento e trasformazione parodica già in uso nella tradizione, che egli riesce abilmente a rielaborare alla luce della nuova poetica introdotta alla pubblicazione di "Satura" (1971).
