In the last few lustrums, the literature has searched for more precise methods to assess the socio-economic importance of the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE). On that basis, this article offers a new way of assessing the SSE impact, enhancing the understanding of the SSE potential for socio-economic transformation. International audience; The SolHoM(a) project aims at determining the degree of landscape anthropisation in the Fossard massif (Remiremont, Vosges, France) by estimating the impact of past human occupations on current soils. Nowadays, a forest covers this relatively inhospitable mountain (hard climate, steep slopes, acid soils ...), but some remains suggest human presence for at least 1400 years.The Saint-Mont is a variscan orogenic granitic summit (height 672m) with valuable preserved archaeological relics, located south of the Fossard. Entre 2003 et 2020, les Bois de Cestres (St Martin-du- Mont) puis le Haut Val Suzon ont fait l’objet d’une enquête archéologique pluridisciplinaire. 26 sites y ont été découverts, dont un en bois de Cestres, a fait l’objet d’une fouille exhaustive. Initiée par Jean Louis Maigrot en 2003-2004, l’enquête a été reprise et conduite par Patrice Beck, professeur d’archéologie et d’histoire médiévale, aidé de Frank Faucher ingénieur au Service Régional de l’Archéologie à Dijon. This study reports about homes for people with mental health problems (with or without co-occurring substance use), who live in supported housing operated by public landlords, entailing tenancies that are usually stricter regarding their pet policies than ordinary homes.
