Co-Parenting: A Model of Value Creation in the Multinational Network

We analyze a novel way to configure and manage multinational networks and propose a model of "co-parenting", characterized by the sharing of parenting roles and distribution of responsibilities between two units. We develop our argument around the notion of the springboard subsidiary, which has an extra-regional geographic mandate of a more strategic nature. Such extra-regional headquarters help parent firms overcome the liability of inter-regional foreignness. A precise prediction of domestic demand is very important for establishing home energy management system and preventing the damage caused by overloading. In this work, active and reactive power consumption prediction model based on historical power usage data and external environment parameter data (temperature and solar radiation) is presented for a typical Southern Norwegian house. This paper makes a case for the “contractual-publicist” nature of the managers’ liability regime, although this matter lies within the scope of civil courts’ jurisdiction. Even though the law assigns civil courts the role in deciding disputes regarding potential infringement of public managers claims, these should be considered legitimate expectations (public law) and not rights (civil law). Except for the recovery of the executive jurisdiction of the administrative court, if the administration refuses to fulfil the civil judgment and the public manager spontaneously appeals for compliance, rather than (or together with) the civil one of forced execution.

In this paper, a new virtual framework for load aggregation in the context of the liberalized energy market is proposed. Since aggregation is managed automatically through a dedicated platform, the purchase of energy can be carried out without intermediation as it happens in peer-to-peer energy transaction models. Differently from what was done before, in this new framework, individual customers can join a load aggregation program through the proposed aggregation platform. This paper deals with the fault tolerant control (FTC) design for a Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) aircraft subject to external disturbances and actuator faults. The aim is to synthesize a fault tolerant controller ensuring trajectory tracking for the nonlinear uncertain system represented by a Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) model. In order to design the FTC law, a proportional integral observer (PIO) is adopted which estimate both of the faults and the faulty system states. Based on the Lyapunov theory and ℓ2 optimization, the trajectory tracking performance and the stability of the closed loop system are analyzed.
