El estudio de aquellas manifestaciones políticas y culturales que se opusieron al proceso revolucionario no ha ocupado generalmente un lugar destacado entre las preocupaciones historiográficas de quienes se han interesados por dicha etapa. L'articolo parte dall'assunto che la categoria dell'"odio" (la parola "odio") sia, da qualche tempo, al centro di una sovra-esposizione mediatica, che a sua volta si traduce in una corrispondente sovra-esposizione politico-criminale, caratterizzata da una massiccia richiesta di criminalizzazione di condotte che si assumono pervase, appunto, da quel sentimento. Tra queste, innanzitutto, la "parola-odio" (l'odio manifestato a parole, lo hate speech). BackgroundThe lung is a frequent site of colorectal cancer (CRC) metastases. After surgical resection, lung metastases recurrences have been related to the presence of micrometastases, potentially accessible to a high dose chemotherapy administered via adjuvant isolated lung perfusion (ILP). Up to now, the backbone of both adjuvant and palliative chemotherapy for colorectal cancer is still represented by 5-fluorouracil (5FU). However, we have currently several approved drugs with significant clinical activity in metastatic colon cancer. Apart from cytotoxics such as oxaliplatin, irinotecan, and fluoropyrimidines, we have antiangiogenics (bevacizumab, aflibercept, and ramucirumab), anti-epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), and tyrosine kinase inhibitors such as regorafenib. Polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy in pachychoroid: combined treatment with photodynamic therapy and aflibercept

Abstract Introduction To evaluate the effects of combined therapy using intravitreal Aflibercept (IVA) and photodynamic therapy (PDT) on polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy related to pachychoroid disease (PPCV).Methods Patients with PPCV were treated with PDT combined with 3 IVA injections on a monthly basis, followed by pro re nata criteria. The 12-month follow-up consisted of multiple revaluations of visual acuity and SSOCT parameters of clinical activity.Results Nineteen eyes were included in the study; mean age was 65.5 years. Abstract The concept of supporting meetings at the same time and at the same place with computers raises the problem of how salient features of group behaviors are understood in meetings. In this paper we critically examine some aspects of meeting behaviors. We point out that the idea of small, cohesive business teams is not necessarily a valid starting point in thinking of all meeting support. In particular, beliefs that relate to user aspects, group features such as composition, structure and protocols, and task characteristics such as nature, importance, and goals in meetings may need deliberation in many group decision support systems (GDSS) interventions.
