Tässä tutkimuksessa kuvataan taloudellisen diskurssin muutosta Suomen eduskunnassa keynesiläisyydestä monetarismiin sekä tähän muutokseen yhdistettävästä pääomamarkkinoiden vapauttamisesta käytyä eduskuntadiskurssia. Tutkimuksessa nostetaan esiin kuinka Kokoomus, Suomen Sosialidemokraattinen Puolue sekä Suomen Kansan Demokraattinen Liitto suhtautuivat pääomamarkkinoiden vapauttamiseen partisaaniteorian näkökulmasta. Tutkimuksessa tarkastellaan Suomen veropolitiikan muutosta vuosien 1987–2007 aikana. Selvitän, miten ja miten paljon Suomen verotus on muuttunut tutkimuksen aikavälillä oikeudenmukaisuuden ja tehokkuuden näkökulmista. Lisäksi tarkastelen sitä, johtaako tehokkuuden ja oikeudenmukaisuuden samanaikainen tavoittelu väistämättä ristiriitaan. The paper seeks to interpret the European crisis following the critical-pragmatic approach that has been developed by the French sociologist Luc Boltanski. In this respect, the essay aims to achieve two main objectives. The first one is to show how the current crisis can be described not only focusing on its systemic, structural nature, but also taking into account the critical claims of social actors. This chapter ties together discussions of citizenship and social work practice in the context of growing populist and neoliberal political trends in Finland. These political trends are manifested in populist right-wing nationalist movements on the one hand, and in the neoliberal dismantling of the welfare state on the other. Conforming to and resisting imposed identities : An autoethnography on academic motherhood

Purpose This research attempts to make sense of the experiences of two academic women who become mothers. Design/methodology/approach This paper is an autoethnography. Applying the autoethnographic method allows us to discuss cultural phenomena through personal reflections and experiences. Our autoethnographic reflections illustrate our struggles and attempts of resistance within discursive spaces where motherhood and our identity as academics intersect.
