Under the dominant approach to corporate governance, the role of law is to help reduce the impact of conflicts of interest and intentional strategic behavior of the different actors, including managers. The managers' decisions that are detrimental to shareholders and other stakeholders do not all have their origin in an intentional behavior. Some of them result of misjudgment, cognitive and behavioral biases. Elisabeth on Free Will, Preordination, and Philosophical Doubt

Elisabeth is widely known as a critic of René Descartes' account of mind--body interaction and scholarly interpretations of her view on the will most often pose the question about the freedom of the will in relation to bodily impulses such as the passions. This chapter takes a different perspective and focuses on the problem of the compatibility of free will and providence, as it is discussed in a sequence of six letters that Elisabeth and Descartes wrote between September 1645 and January 1646. W artykule zaprezentowano sposób formułowania libertariańskiej koncepcji sprawiedliwości, opierając się na zmianie postrzegania podstawowych wartości: wolności i równości. Zarządzanie wartościami, poprzez zmianę ich pierwotnego znaczenia było jednym z kluczowych elementów w transformacji ustrojowej w obszarze polityki, społeczeństwa i gospodarki po II wojnie światowej. Zwrócono uwagę na różnice teoretyczne pierwotnych koncepcji oraz ich praktycznych emanacji w Stanach Zjednoczonych i przede wszystkim w Wielkiej Brytanii oraz w Europie Środkowo-Wschodniej.

En este artículo, tengo la intención de defender el libertarismo contra la llamada "objeción de la suerte”, según la cual una elección causalmente indeterminada es puramente afortunada o arbitraria, y por lo tanto no es algo que un agente pueda controlar y ser moralmente responsable. Trato de responder a esta objeción sobre la base de una reflexión sobre si la deliberación es una cuestión de sopesar razones o de darles peso. Con este fin, me baso en algunas ideas de P.
