Powszechny dostęp do technologii cyfrowych, informatycznych i telekomunikacyjnych powoduje nieodwracalne zmiany w organizacji dostępu do zasobów bibliotecznych. The entry into force of Act 2.0 did not change one fact – the library still remains an important part of the university’s micro and macro academic world, although it was formally noticed by the legislator to a small extent. During the first phase of the communist rule in Poland, control over the press, publications and spectacles was distributed among various state institutions. Initially, the main unit responsible for this task was the Department of Information and Propaganda, transformed in late 1944 into the Ministry of Information and Propaganda. Quantification of HSP27 and HSP70 Molecular Chaperone Activities

Stress-inducible heat-shock proteins (HSPs, like HSP70 and HSP27) are molecular chaperones that -protect cells from stress damage by keeping cellular proteins in a folding competent state and preventing them from irreversible aggregation. HSP27 and HSP70 chaperone activities are useful indicators to test chemical products and physical stress impact on protein denaturation, to select HSP inhibitors, or to -determine the implication of the chaperone function in other HSP activities, such as apoptosis. La Cartoteca de la Universitat de València gestiona desde 2002 una parte muy importante del patrimonio cartográfico de dicha universidad, hasta entonces disperso en diversas instancias. Partiendo de los criterios de antigüedad, rareza y valor cultural, entendido como la vinculación de los mapas con las circunstancias históricas de su producción, se describen brevemente sus principales colecciones. Posteriormente se detallan las acciones realizadas para su conservación y difusión. Current development of CFTR potentiators in the last decade

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disorder produced by the loss of function of CFTR, a main chloride channel involved in transepithelial salt and water transport. CFTR function can be rescued by small molecules called "potentiators" which increase gating activity of CFTR on epithelial surfaces. High throughput screening (HTS) assays allowed the identification of new chemical entities endowed with potentiator properties, further improved through medicinal chemistry optimization.
