La dégustation du vin : Un acte expérientiel et identitaire entre théâtralisation et culturalisation

The cultural discourse surrounding wine tasting has both a pragmatic and a cognitive function, and it gives rise to several representations and argumentations. How is it possible to communicate various approaches to wine to new generations, university students and adults? How can they build their own reference tables and their own representations of “good wines”? These questions highlight the subjective nature of wine appreciation and representation, also recalling the strong link existing between the preservation and transfer of a specific imaginary surrounding food and the essential role played by cultural and theatrical processes.

PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to analyse the corporate governance information disclosed by Spanish listed companies on the internet, with the objective of assessing the extent and the influence of several corporate characteristics on the level of information voluntarily disclosed.Design/methodology/approachThe study took as its reference the existing literature on the examination of the quality of web sites and the importance of content as a key variable in determining web site quality. Report describes the experience of preparing exhibitions about Historical Collections of the Library of the University of Latvia. There are given two examples, that illustrates the challenges library have faced regarding the process of creating exhibitions.

An N-terminal deletion variant of HCN1 in the epileptic WAG/Rij strain modulates HCN current densities.

Rats of the Wistar Albino Glaxo/Rij (WAG/Rij) strain show symptoms resembling human absence epilepsy. Thalamocortical neurons of WAG/Rij rats are characterized by an increased HCN1 expression, a negative shift in Ih activation curve, and an altered responsiveness of Ih to cAMP. We cloned HCN1 channels from rat thalamic cDNA libraries of the WAG/Rij strain and found an N-terminal deletion of 37 amino acids. In addition, WAG-HCN1 has a stretch of six amino acids, directly following the deletion, where the wild-type sequence (GNSVCF) is changed to a polyserine motif. Comprehensive dataset of shotgun metagenomes from oxygen stratified freshwater lakes and ponds

Stratified lakes and ponds featuring steep oxygen gradients are significant net sources of greenhouse gases and hotspots in the carbon cycle. Despite their significant biogeochemical roles, the microbial communities, especially in the oxygen depleted compartments, are poorly known. Here, we present a comprehensive dataset including 267 shotgun metagenomes from 41 stratified lakes and ponds mainly located in the boreal and subarctic regions, but also including one tropical reservoir and one temperate lake. Market exchanges would be evolving into a more horizontal and collaborative model. We can notice the strength of this movement within 2.0 merchant platforms. Then, we propose to explore the tension between giving and commodification through the concepts of interest and empowerment. Our main hypothesis is about a reconfiguration of online giving in a form of "disinterested interest". We will bring this issue through an exploratory study on Airbnb.
