The necessity of improving the health and quality of life of subjects affected by diverse injuries and chronic diseases, has led to develop a new branch of translational medicine, called Regenerative Medicine (RegMed). RegMed has the principal objects of restoring, maintaining or enhancing structures and functions of tissues and organs. In order to achieve these goals, the RegMed researchers have proposed and tested diverse approaches. The Stem Cell Therapy represents the central focus of RegMed, even if its applications may imply the onset of adverse conditions. Here, an overview of this topic will be reported, by pointing advantages and disadvantages.

International audience; The purpose of this paper is to explore how students may understand the link between the formalisations through ɛ-statements of infinite processes in the Archimedean continuum. These processes illustrate either equality or limit. In particular, we focus on the extent to which students perceive the formalisation of the infinite closeness notion in the two processes. Analysis and optimization of hybrid double lap aluminum-GFRP joints

In this paper a systematic investigation of the mechanical performance of hybrid double-lap Al-GFRP bonded-bolted joints, has been carried out by using experimental analyses and numerical simulations. In order to detect the optimal geometric configuration, as well as to highlight the contribution of adhesive and bolts, the results relative to hybrid joints have been compared with those of simply adhesively bonded and simply bolted joints.
