Some regularity results on the ‘relativistic’ heat equation

AbstractWe prove some partial regularity results for the entropy solution u of the so-called relativistic heat equation. In particular, under some assumptions on the initial condition u0, we prove that ut(t) is a Radon measure in RN. Moreover, if u0 is log-concave inside its support Ω, Ω being a convex set, then we show the solution u(t) is also log-concave in its support Ω(t). This implies its smoothness in Ω(t). In that case we can give a simpler characterization of the notion of entropy solution.
Occurrence of Fusarium mycotoxins in Italian cereal and cereal products from organic farming.

In the present study, the occurrence of eighteen mycotoxins, nine trichothecenes (deoxynivalenol, 3-acetyl-deoxynivalenol, 15-acetyl-deoxynivalenol, nivalenol, neosolaniol, diacetoxyscirpenol, fusarenon-X, T-2 toxin and HT-2 toxin), three zearalenones (zearalenone, α-zearalenol and β-zearalenol), and six emergent mycotoxins, beauvericin and five enniatins (A, A1, B, B1 and B4), was monitored in different Italian organic cereals and cereal products by using a liquid chromatography coupled to triple quadrupole mass spectrometry method. We provide a general equilibrium analysis of potential consequences from the introduction of a binding leverage ratio, as proposed in Basel III. If banks differ in their monitoring skills and their ability to successfully complete a risky investment project, a tighter leverage ratio does not only mitigate moral hazard arising from limited liability, but also carries an unintended consequence: Banks are not allowed to absorb the entire supply of debt if they cannot raise new equity, which induces agents with a lower monitoring skill to open a bank. Background: Meaningful activities can be done in or around home, but opportunities for participation and active aging decrease when moving in smaller areas. Active aging refers to having an active approach to life in line with one's goals, ability and opportunities. The adoption of carbohydrate-restrictive diets to improve health is increasing in popularity, but there is a dearth of research on individuals who choose to severely restrict or entirely exclude carbohydrates. The present study investigated the beliefs and experiences of individuals following a diet that severely limits, or entirely excludes, dietary carbohydrates, colloquially known as a ‘zero-carb’ diet, for at least 6 months. Since the 19th century, many proposals have been made regarding the boundaries of the territory of the civitas Aeduorum. Although there is general agreement on many geographic sectors, there are still major discrepancies of opinion, principally in the regions of Autissiodurum / Auxerre and Alesia. The religious epigraphy of the Early Empire, in particular the use of a specific formulary, seems to demonstrate a single religious (and political) community in these regions, which would thus have all belonged to the civitas Aeduorum in the 2nd and 3rd centuries.

Most of the studies differentiating the effect of size-classified particulate matter (PM) exposure have been carried out in cities where the average levels of fine particles (PM2.5) were higher than those of coarse particles (PM10-2.5). These studies have suggested that PM2.5 is associated with daily mortality, but there is only limited evidence that PM10-2.5 is independently associated with mortality. AbstractA case-study of a litigation during the years 1566–1574 between merchants from Oudenaarde and the Corporation of Free Shippers in Ghent shows that the corporation's liability for damage caused by one of its members was controversial.
