Perhemuodon ja sisarusaseman yhteys lapsen sosiaaliseen suosituimmuuteen ja näkyvyyteen ensimmäisellä luokalla

Tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin perhemuodon, sisaruuden ja syntymäjärjestyksen yhteyttä lapsen saamaan hyväksyntään ikätovereiden keskuudessa ensimmäisellä luokalla. Tutkittavina oli 154 keskisuomalaista lasta yhdeksältä luokalta. Lapsen sosiaalista suosituimmuutta ja näkyvyyttä arvioitiin ensimmäisen luokan keväällä pyytämällä lapsia mainitsemaan luokkatovereita, joiden kanssa he viettävät mielellään aikaansa ja joiden kanssa he vastaavasti eivät mielellään vietä aikaansa. Tämän tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli kuvata millaisia kokemuksia työn perässä Suomeen tulleilla maahanmuuttajilla on ystävyyssuhteiden rakentumisesta kantasuomalaisiin. Tavoitteen saavuttamiseksi selvitettiin 1) millaisia ystävyyssuhteita maahanmuuttajilla kantasuomalaisten kanssa on, 2) miten läheisiksi ja kehittyneiksi maahanmuuttaja kokee kantasuomalaisiin rakentuneet ystävyyssuhteet, 3) millaiset tekijät he ovat kokeneet ystävyyssuhteiden rakentumista edistäviksi tai hankaloittaviksi, ja 4) millainen merkitys heidän mielestään ystävyyssuhteilla on suomalaiseen yhteiskuntaan integroitumisessa. Tämä tutkimus käsittelee Vaasan Ikäkeskuksen päivätoimintaa ja sen merkitystä sosiaalisen hyvinvoinnin ja sitä kautta kotona asumisen tukena. Ikääntyessä vanhus kohtaa väistämättä menetyksiä ja ihmissuhteiden ylläpito voi olla vaikeaa toimintakyvyn laskun vuoksi. Monet vanhukset kokevat yksinäisyyttä sosiaalisten kontaktien vähennyttyä. Kotona asuvia vanhuksia voidaan pyrkiä tukemaan sosiaalista hyvinvointia vahvistamalla. Tutkimuksessa tarkastellaan sosiaalisen hyvinvoinnin merkitystä kotona asumisen tukena. Properties of zeros of solutions to third order nonlinear differential equations

We investigate the behavior of zeros of solutions to the certain type of third order nonlinear differential equations. We show that the behavior of zeros may be rather different and depend on the nature of nonlinearity in the equation. Main results in the paper are illustrated with a number of examples.
