Automatic detection of P, QRS and T patterns in 12 leads ECG signal based on CWT
2016
International audience; In this paper, a new method based on the continuous wavelet transform is described in order to detect the QRS, P and T waves. QRS, P and T waves may be distinguished from noise, baseline drift or irregular heartbeats. The algorithm, described in this paper, has been evaluated using the Computers in Cardiology (CinC) Challenge 2011 database and also applied on the MIT-BIH Arrhythmia database (MITDB). The data from the CinC Challenge 2011 are standard 12 ECG leads recordings with full diagnostic bandwidth compared to the MITDB which only includes two leads for each ECG signal. Firstly, our algorithm is validated using fifty 12 leads ECG samples from the CinC collection…
Fenoskandijas ledus vairoga Zemgales loba subglaciālās reljefa sistēmas un dinamika
2015
Intrusion within a transtensional tectonic domain: the Čistá granodiorite (Bohemian Massif)—structure and rheological modelling
2000
Abstract The Cista granodiorite stock, which intrudes the Tis granite laccolith, and their Neoproterozoic country rocks of the Tepla–Barrandian zone were studied by means of structural analysis and anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility. The rocks were dated by the Pb–Pb evaporation on zircons, determining the age of the Cista granodiorite and Tis granite at 373 Ma and 504 Ma, respectively. The structures in the country rocks are characterised by an axial cleavage dipping to the northwest and overprinting the folded bedding. S1 cleavage bears NE–SW-trending mineral lineations, which plunge to the northeast or southwest at shallow angles. The cleavage is deformed by D2 kink-bands, which indic…
Exhumation of high-pressure granulites and the role of lower crustal advection in the North China Craton near Datong
1997
Granulites in the Datong-Huai'an area of North China are characterized by high P-T assemblages (14 16 kbar, -9OOY) that underwent decompression cooling to -7 kbar and -800°C during a 250&2400 Ma tectonic event. Nearly all structures in the grantilites developed during the retrograde exhumation history, and can be subdivided into: (1) the stratigraphically lower, 'lower structural domain' that is characterized by complex folding with 55-10 km wide domes surrounded by concentric troughs, preserving concentric lineation patterns; and (2) the stratigraphically higher 'upper structural domain' that is characterized by a planar gneissic foliation, upright folds and a constant, shallowly SW-plungi…
Does second phase content control the evolution of olivine CPO type and deformation mechanisms? A case study of paired harzburgite and dunite bands i…
2021
Abstract We have examined the microstructures and crystallographic preferred orientations (CPOs) of six “paired” harzburgite and dunite samples from a small (~ 1 km2) area in the Ellis Stream Complex, Red Hills Massif, Dun Mountain ophiolite belt in New Zealand. Here, banded peridotites with isoclinal folds, E-W striking vertical foliations and vertical lineations are inferred to result from shear on vertical planes that overprint previous mantle structures. The samples contain five different olivine CPOs: typically known as A, C, D, E and AG-types. The co-located harzburgite and dunite of each pair show different CPOs (e.g., A vs E type). In each pair, dunite generally has larger grain siz…
Bivergent extension in orogenic belts: The Menderes massif (southwestern Turkey)
1995
The central Menderes massif is characterized by an overall dome-shaped foliation pattern and a north-northeast-trending stretching lineation. The asymmetry of shear bands and quartz c-axis fabrics on either side of the structural dome demonstrate a top to the north-northeast shear sense in the northern part and a top to the south-southwest shear sense in the southern part of the submassif, i.e., a bivergent downdip movement. This suggests a symmetric collapse of the Alpine Menderes orogenic belt along two extensional shear zones. Conjugate shear bands and symmetric quartz c-axis fabrics in the east-trending transition zone demonstrate a coaxial deformation between the two extension domains.…
Deformation history of the Hengshan Complex: Implications for the tectonic evolution of the Trans-North China Orogen
2007
Abstract Structural analysis indicates that the Hengshan Complex underwent five distinct episodes of deformation (D1–D5). The D1 episode formed small isoclinal folds (F1), penetrative axial planar foliations (S1) and mineral stretching lineations (L1). D1 fabrics were reworked by following D2 deformation. Associated with D2 was the development of NW-verging asymmetric folds and accompanying thrust faults. Both D1 and D2 resulted from crustal thickening and coherent with prograde and peak metamorphism. D2 deformation was followed by transpressional dextral shearing (D3), including top-to-NW oblique-slip shearing and NNE–SSW dextral strike-slip shearing. Ongoing collision led to development o…
Head–Neck Cancer Delineation
2021
Head–Neck Cancer (HNC) has a relevant impact on the oncology patient population and for this reason, the present review is dedicated to this type of neoplastic disease. In particular, a collection of methods aimed at tumor delineation is presented, because this is a fundamental task to perform efficient radiotherapy. Such a segmentation task is often performed on uni-modal data (usually Positron Emission Tomography (PET)) even though multi-modal images are preferred (PET-Computerized Tomography (CT)/PET-Magnetic Resonance (MR)). Datasets can be private or freely provided by online repositories on the web. The adopted techniques can belong to the well-known image processing/computer-vision a…
