L’objectiu d’aquest estudi és examinar les composicions poètiques aportades per dones als tres certàmens celebrats a València i Barcelona, amb motiu de la beatificació (1614) i posterior canonització (1622) de Teresa de Jesús; dos moments clau per a la consolidació de la fama de la carmelitana avilesa que van possibilitar l’exhibició pública i impressió de poesia femenina. Analitzem també la participació femenina catalana al certamen celebrat a Saragossa el 1614 per la beatificació. En aquest article volem comentar dos poemes catalans la temàtica dels quals està relacionada amb el simbolisme dels colors. Ambdós es troben a un manuscrit del segle XVII que es conserva a l’Arxiu Municipal de Palma. Per enfocar d’una manera adequada la nostra anàlisi, parlarem breument sobre els significats que en diferents èpoques s’ha atribuït als colors i donarem una sèrie d’exemples per mostrar com ha estat expressada aquesta temàtica, cosa que ens permetrà també donar suport a la nostra interpretació. This study analyzes the repercussions and treatment of the production of the Valencian poet, Vicent Andrés Estellés during exile. It takes as a starting oint different moments and texts both from the post-war period and the sixties and the beginning of the eighties –especially during 1956, a seminal year in the evolution of the author. In this work the structural variations and mechanical performance of polyethylene/clay nanocomposite drawn fibres, also in the presence ofcompatibilizer, such as a commercial maleic anhydride grafted polyethylene, PEgMA, was studied. In the isotropic state both systems show intercalated morphology.After spinning and cold drawing, by adding the nanoparticles, the tensile strength as a function of the draw ratio increases and this rise is more pronounced for the filled compatibilized system. THE INTERACTION OF TEMPORAL-ASPECTUAL FEATURES IN MODAL POLYSEMY: A CASE-STUDY FROM SICILIAN. We intend to analyse a number of Sicilian constructions involving the modal vuliri “want” and the modal periphrasis aviri a “have to+ infinitive”. They are used to express both modal values and futurity (Sicilian, but not Italian, lacks a synthetic future). This work deals with corpus-assisted research into speaker ideological positioning in the language of diplomacy. It concentrates on the resources used by the foreign minister Margaret Beckett to construe the speaker “orientation” (Lemke 1992) through the analysis of the main participant in the discourse that is international community and the subject matter being debated namely terrorism. The findings have shown assertiveness and determination from the speaker by the use of contractive mechanisms.
