Oil spills pose serious threats to the legitimacy of the companies involved and the oil industry in general. The objective of this study is to conduct research on the communication strategies used by ‘British Petroleum’ (BP) to maintain its legitimacy before the Deepwater Horizon (DH) oil spill caused in April 2010 and to repair its legitimacy after the DH accident. Perceived behavioral control moderating effects in the theory of planned behavior : A meta-analysis

Objective: According to the theory of planned behavior, individuals are more likely to act on their behavioral intentions, and report intentions aligned with their attitudes and subjective norm, when their perceived behavioral control (PBC) is high. We tested these predictions meta-analytically by estimating the moderating effect of PBC on the attitude-intention, subjective norm-intention, and the intention-behavior relations in studies applying the theory in the health behavior domain. Digitalization brings major changes in the understanding about interactions between machines and humans. This interaction is created through knowledge of various sources of information produced. This thesis examines what information is produced and how large amounts of numerical data should produce in order to be useful at a later stage.

Risk perception and gratitude mediate the negative relationship between COVID-19 management satisfaction and public anxiety

AbstractIn this study, we explored whether satisfaction with government management, perception of risk, and gratitude influenced public anxiety during the COVID-19 pandemic in China. Using a cross-sectional, anonymous and confidential online survey, a nationwide sample of Chinese adults (N = 876) was targeted between March 25–March 30, 2020, a period in which newly confirmed cases significantly declined in China. The anxiety level was decreased as compared to that assessed during the peak period. Children with cerebral palsy (CP) have various gait impairments, and consequently their gait is less stable compared to typically developed (TD) controls. Gait kinematics are also affected more in CP than TD by concurrent dual and cognitive tasks.
