Historiataitojen opetus alakoulussa : esimerkkimenetelmänä pedagogisten liveroolipelien mahdollisuudet historian opetuksessa

Tässä tutkimuksessa tutkitaan historiataitojen opettamista alakoulussa sekä pedagogisten liveroolipelien käyttöä historian opetuksen menetelmänä. Tutkimuksen tarkoitus on selvittää, miten luokanopettajat näkevät historian oppiaineena ja miten he opettavat opetussuunnitelman edellyttämiä historiataitoja. Historiataitojen opettamiseen syvennytään tarkemmin tutkimalla opettajien kokemuksia pedagogisten liveroolipelien käytöstä historian opetuksen menetelmänä. Tutkimuksen teoriaosuudessa muodostetaan kuva historiasta tieteenalana ja oppiaineena sekä sen roolista opetussuunnitelmassa. Background and aim: Coffee intake exerts protective effects against non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), although without fully cleared mechanisms. In this study we aimed to assess whether coffee consumption may influence the expression of long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in the liver. Methods: C57BL/6J mice were fed a 12-week standard diet (SD), high-fat diet (HFD) or HFD plus decaffeinated coffee solution (HFD + coffee). Expression of specific lncRNAs involved in NAFLD was analyzed by real-time PCR. For the most differentially expressed lncRNAs, the analysis was also extended to their mRNA targets. Local regularity estimates for general discrete dynamic programming equations

We obtain an analytic proof for asymptotic H\"older estimate and Harnack's inequality for solutions to a discrete dynamic programming equation. The results also generalize to functions satisfying Pucci-type inequalities for discrete extremal operators. Thus the results cover a quite general class of equations.

A general min-max principle established by Ghoussoub is extended to the case of functionals which are the sum of a locally Lipschitz continuous term and of a convex, proper, lower semicontinuous function. Some topological properties of the min-max-generated critical points in such a framework are then pointed out.

Low density lipoproteins (LDL) comprise in humans two different main fractions: large, buoyant and small, dense particles. Small, dense LDL particles correlate negatively with plasma HDL levels and positively with plasma triglyceride concentrations and are associated with the metabolic syndrome and increased risk for cardiovascular disease. LDL size seems to be an important predictor of cardiovascular events and progression of coronary heart disease (CHD).
