From matrix clause to discourse marker: the grammaticalization of Hauptsache

[EN] This paper has a double purpose. On the one hand, it intends to prove the existence of a discourse marker (DM) Hauptsache. This element preserves the core conceptual meaning of the homonymous noun, but differs from it with regard to its morphosyntactic and semantic features as well as to its discourse-organizing, information structuring, and modal functions. Les effets des apports à long terme (9 ans) de lisier de porc ou de nitrate d’ammonium sur l’activité énitrifiante, la production de N2O et le carbone organique du sol (C extractible, C de la biomasse microbienne et C organique total) ont été comparés sur des parcelles adjacentes à trois profondeurs différentes. L’activité dénitrifiante a été mesurée sur des cylindres de sol non remanié et sur des échantillons de sol tamisés avec la méthode à l’acétylène afin d’estimer la vitesse de dénitrification aux conditions du champ ou en conditions potentielles. VOX Spain: The Organisational Challenges of a New Radical Right Party

This article examines the organisation of VOX, a new radical right party in Spain. It shows that the party has taken early and uneven steps to build a mass organisation and initially opted for open membership recruitment with participatory organisational elements. Also, the party’s rapid growth and quick entrance into political institutions at different state levels led the party leadership to establish more centralised control and limit members’ prerogatives, though recruitment continued.
