The Russian State Archives of Historical Records in Moscow (Российский государственный архив древних актор) contains a group No. 1587, which the institutions resource list calls ‘Collection of Autographs Gathered by Princes Żagań.’ The article describes the history of the library of the dukes of Żagań in the 19th century, including the creation of a collection of manuscripts. This collection is of a particular importance as a testimony to the finał years of the Duchy of Courland and Semigalia and the extensive family ties of the princes of Żagań. The Post-Enlargement Migration Experience in the Baltic Labor Markets

In this chapter, we use Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian LFS data (2002-2007) complemented with several other surveys to compare the profile of Baltic temporary workers abroad before and after EU accession with that of stayers and return migrants. Determinants of migration and return, as well as selection issues are discussed. Post-enlargement migrants from all three countries were significantly less educated than stayers. Other things equal, medium-educated workers were most likely to move after accession, and human capital became increasingly less pro-migration over time. The paper explores the interrelations between ethical organisational culture and organisational innovativeness in two different socio-cultural contexts, Finland and Lithuania. According to the Global Innovation Index 2013, Finland ranked 6th and Lithuania 40th in terms of the national capacity to produce innovations. Prior research by Riivari and Lamsa (J Business Ethics 124:1–17, 2014) and Riivari et al. Contains age, error, sampling depth, location etc. and a reference to data source. Coordinates of sampling locations for contemporary publications are taken from field observations (GPS), but older ones - published schematic maps. The aim of the study was to compare infant mortality rates in all the 3 Baltic countries and examine some of the macro- and socioeconomic factors associated with infant mortality.
