In visual working memory (VWM) tasks, participants’ performances can be improved through the use of dimension-based retro-cues, which direct internal attention to prioritize a particular dimension (e.g., color or orientation) of VWM representations even after the stimuli disappear. Bakalaura darbā “Humors komisāra Palmu filmās” tiek aplūkotas, pēc Mika Waltari detektīvromānu motīviem uzņemtās filmas: Komisāra Palmu kļūda, Zvaigznes pastāstīs, Komisār Palmu! un Kurš nogalināja Skrofas kundzi? Tiek veikta filmu galvenā varoņa – komisāra Palmu tēla un citu varoņu, kā arī filmās attēlotā humora analīze. Pētījuma mērķis ir skaidrot kā humors izpaužas komisāra Palmu filmās, skaidrot, kas ir humors, iepazīties ar humora vēsturi un veikt humora analīzi komisāra Palmu filmās. Humora analīzē tika izmantoti dažādu autoru, kā piemēram Artura Asas Bergera, Mīkes Bālas un Ārnes Kinunena pētījumi.

Emociju izraisošu filmu klipu datubāzes (EMDB) adaptācija Latvijā

Šī maģistra darba mērķis ir “Emociju izraisošu filmu klipu datubāzes - EMDB” adaptācija Latvijā. Klipi iedalīti 6 kategorijās, kas balstās uz multidimensionālo emociju modeli. Pētījumā izmantoti divi pishometriskie instrumenti: SAM (Self-Assesment Manikin) Pašnovērtējuma manekena anketa un I PANAS SF (International Positive and Negative Affect Schedule) Pozitīvo un negatīvo afektu skala. Tika izvirzīti divi pētījuma jautājumi: vai latviešu izlases psihometriskie vidējie atbilst oriģinālās metodes rādītājiem? Kāda ir korelācija starp valences un pozitīvās un negatīvas afektu skalas rādītājiem? Pētījumā piedalījās 134 universitātes studenti no Latvijas Universitātes. Tika secināts, ka pastāv …
