Inhibition of neuroeffector transmission in human vas deferens by sildenafil
2000
Sildenafil (0.1 - 30 microM), a cyclic GMP phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE 5) inhibitor, induced inhibition of electrically evoked contractions of ring segments of human vas deferens from 34 vasectomies. Zaprinast (0.1 - 100 microM), another PDE 5 inhibitor, and the nitric oxide (NO) donor sodium nitroprusside (SNP) (0.1 - 100 microM) had no effect on neurogenic contractions. The inhibition induced by sildenafil was not modified by the inhibitor of guanylate cyclase 1H-[1,2,4]oxadiazolo[4,3-a]quinoxaline-1-one (ODQ) (1 - 30 microM) but it was abolished by the K(+) channel blockers tetraethylammonium (TEA, 1 mM), iberiotoxin (0.1 microM) and charybdotoxin (0.1 microM). Sildenafil, zaprinast and SNP…
A new phase locked loop strategy for power quality instruments synchronisation
2006
Power quality instrumentation requires the accurate fundamental frequency estimation and the signal synchronization, even in presence of disturbances. In the paper the authors present an innovative synchronization technique, based on a single phase software PLL. To evaluate how the synchronization technique is adversely affected by the application of stationary and transient disturbing influences, appropriate testing conditions have been developed, taking into account the requirements of the in-force standards. In the paper the proposed technique is described and PLL performances in presence of stationary and transient disturbances are presented
Nonlinear Analysis of Phase-locked Loop-Based Circuits
2013
Main problems of simulation and mathematical modeling of high-frequency signals for analog Costas loop and for analog phase-locked loop (PLL) are considered. Two approachers which allow to solve these problems are considered. In the first approach, nonlinear models of classical PLL and classical Costas loop are considered. In the second approach, engineering solutions for this problems are described. Nonlinear differential equations are derived for both approaches.
Analytical methods for computation of phase-detector characteristics and PLL design
2011
An effective analytical methods for computation of phase detector characteristics are suggested. For high-frequency oscillators new classes of such characteristics are described. Approaches to a rigorous nonlinear analysis of PLL are discussed.
Nonlinear analysis of phase-locked loop
2010
Abstract New method for the rigorous mathematical nonlinear analysis of PLL systems is suggested. This method allows to calculate the characteristics of phase detectors and carry out a rigorous mathematical analysis of transient process and stability of the system.
On the Gardner Problem for the Phase-Locked Loops
2019
This report shows the possibilities of solving the Gardner problem of determining the lock-in range for multidimensional phase-locked loops systems. The development of analogs of classical stability criteria for the cylindrical phase space made it possible to obtain analytical estimates of the lock-in range for third-order system.

Measurement of the Sensitivity Function in a Time-Domain Atomic Interferometer
2008
We present here an analysis of the sensitivity of a time-domain atomic interferometer to the phase noise of the lasers used to manipulate the atomic wave packets. The sensitivity function is calculated in the case of a three-pulse Mach-Zehnder interferometer, which is the configuration of the two inertial sensors we are building at the Laboratoire National de Metrologie et d'Essais-Systeme de References Temps-Espace. We successfully compare this calculation to experimental measurements. The sensitivity of the interferometer is limited by the phase noise of the lasers as well as by residual vibrations. We evaluate the performance that could be obtained with state-of-the-art quartz oscillator…
Irradiation study of a fully monolithic HV-CMOS pixel sensor design in AMS 180 nm
2018
Abstract High-Voltage Monolithic Active Pixel Sensors (HV-MAPS) based on a 180 nm HV-CMOS process have been proposed to realize thin, fast and highly integrated pixel sensors. The MuPix7 prototype, fabricated in the commercial AMS H18 process, features a fully integrated on-chip readout, i.e. hit-digitization, zero suppression and data serialization. MuPix7 is the first fully monolithic HV-CMOS pixel sensor that has been tested for the use in high irradiation environments like HL-LHC. We present results from laboratory and test beam measurements of MuPix7 prototypes irradiated with neutrons (up to 5.0 × 1015 neq/cm2) and 24 GeV protons (up to 7.8 × 1015 protons/cm2) and compare the performa…
Integrated Generation of High-dimensional Entangled Photon States and Their Coherent Control
2017
Exploiting a frequency-domain approach, we demonstrate the generation of high-dimensional entangled quantum states with a Hilbert-space dimensionality larger than 100 from an on-chip nonlinear microcavity, and introduce a coherent control platform using standard telecommunications components.
