In this paper, a new simulation technique which can include microstructural inhomogeneity of particulate reinforced composites is proposed to accurately study deformation pattern and damage mechanism in these composites. Three dimensional microstructures constructed from XCT images incorporated into finite element modeling codes with minimal approximation to capture the effects of cluster size, local volume fraction of particles in the cluster and the distance between clusters as relevant statistical quantities describing the microstructural inhomogeneity of particulate reinforced composites. The Ecuelles Charmoy site is one of the first Late Hallstatt settlements to be discovered on the edge of the plateau that dominates the Seine-Yonne confluence. In use for only a short period at the end of the 5th and during the first half of the 4th century BC, the site includes postholed buildings, storage pits and other structures in an organized domestic space. The pottery, especially the painted ware, is particularly abundant in the storage pits and constitutes a reference of local ware and its production. Simulations of interacting electrons and bosons out of equilibrium, starting from first principles and aiming at realistic multiscale scenarios, is a grand theoretical challenge. Here, using the formalism of nonequilibrium Green's functions and relying in a crucial way on the recently discovered time-linear formulation of the Kadanoff-Baym equations, we present a versatile toolbox for the simulation of correlated electron-boson dynamics. Chemical and physico‐chemical changes during the dry‐cured processing of deer loin

The changes on chemical composition, physico‐chemical parameters, free fatty acids and free amino acids content of dry‐cured deer loin were investigated at day 0, 30 and 60 of dry‐cured process. On the whole, except for pH values (≈5.6) and composition (fat: 4.6–5.2%; protein: ≈73%; ash: ≈17.5%) that did not show differences between the processing days, the other physico‐chemical parameters were affected by curing process. Colour parameters and moisture (from 69 to 38.4%) decreased while the hardness increase from 12.35 to 342 N and lipid oxidation (from 0.2 to 0.52 mg MDA/kg) increased as dry‐cured stage progresses. The evolution of dispersal tendencies and of cognitive abilities have both been intensely studied. Yet little attention has been given to the question of how these two aspects may relate to each other, as a result of their joint evolution. On the one hand, learning abilities may help dispersers to cope with their new habitat. On the other hand, dispersal may sometimes reduce the need for learning, because local environments may differ in how much there is to learn.
