Bakalaura darbs “Voldemāra Maldoņa darbība Latvijas evaņģēliski luteriskajā baznīcā” mērķis ir izpētīt mācītāja Voldemāra Maldoņa darbību un tās ietekmi Latvijas evaņģēliski luteriskajā baznīcā, kas balstās uz viņa sabiedrisko darbu latviešu tautas labā un teoloģiskajos uzskatos. Darbā apskatīta V. Maldoņa dzīve un paveiktais sabiedriskais darbs līdz 1909. gadam, kad viņš kļuva par praktizējošu mācītāju. Sniegts vispārējs teorētisks ieskats par to, ko nozīmē būt latviešu mācītājam 19. gs. un kāda ir baznīcas struktūra un sadzīve šajā laikā Latvijas teritorijā. Tad detalizēti tiek apskatīta V. Dialog luterańsko-rzymskokatolicki – odkrywanie katolickości

Artykuł podejmuje próbę interpretacji przebiegu i rezultatów dialogu luterańsko-rzymskokatolickiego jako wzajemnego odkrycia, że konfesyjnie uwarunkowane dziedzictwo doktryny i wiary jest wyrazem „katolickości” Kościoła. W tym celu dokonano najpierw syntetycznej analizy pojęcia katolickości w perspektywie historycznej i ekumenicznej oraz odniesiono się do problemu konfesjonalizacji chrześcijaństwa. Proces ten nastąpił zwłaszcza w okresie poreformacyjnym i skutkował zawężeniem ujęć chrześcijańskiej doktryny w podzielonych Kościołach oraz utratą ich zdolności do akceptacji „katolickiej” wielości i różnorodności. The Lutheran state church had a monopoly status in Finland for centuries. But its dominance slowly weakened as pietistic revival movements spread in Finland in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. These movements had religious purposes, but they were also forerunners of profound social and economic changes in Finland in the twentieth century. Papit olivat varhaismodernilla ajalla merkittäviä toimijoita Ruotsin valtakunnan paikallisyhteisöissä, joissa he olivat hengellisten toimiensa ohessa sidoshenkilöitä maallisen esivallan ja tavallisen kansan välillä. ABSTRACT. On 25 June 1941 Finland embarked on a war against the Soviet Union, as part of Germany’s Operation Barbarossa. The war that was about to begin could be considered acceptable and even advantageous politically. However, theologically this was not necessarily the case. The topic of the article is how the war between the states of Finland and the Soviet Union could be justified publicly in relation to a religion whose core message is not to kill, to turn the other cheek to – and even love – the enemy.
