Schulstress kommt in erheblichem Maße auch durch aggressive Interaktionen zwischen Schülern zustande. Aggressionen in der Schule können vielfältige Formen annehmen und verschiedene Ursachen haben. In diesem Beitrag geht es um Bullying, Mobbing und relationale Aggression unter Schülern. Wichtige Forschungsbefunde zu den verschiedenen Aggressionsformen werden dargestellt. Anschließend wird eine psychoanalytische Behandlung einer Jugendlichen wegen Mobbing vorgestellt. Die Therapie erstreckte sich über 70 Stunden und umfasste auch begleitende Elterngespräche. I discuss, in this paper, the view of value that is associated with Humean moti- vational theories. I argue that these theories unjustifiedly constrain the kind of ele- ment that may contribute to our motivational economy and, thereby, unduly reduce our capacity to recognise certain sources of value. To this purpose, I will examine some axiological experiences that, if I am right, are inaccessible to a Humean analysis of our motivational structure. In Reason, Truth, and History, Hilary Putnam presents an argument aimed at showing that the modern skeptic hypothesis of a brain in a vat is self-refuting. In my view, and despite the enormous amount of literature about this argument, it has not yet been shown all the absurd consequences to which the assumption of the thesis that Putnam maintains in order to refute that hypothesis may lead. The purpose of this paper is, then, to explore to the last consequences that argument and, bringing to light its scarce plausibility, to cast serious doubt upon Putnam's strategy.

Preliminary photochemical studies of fluorene in various aqueous media

- The current study investigates the direct photochemical degradation of aqueous fluorene with the aid of a 125W polychromatic medium, pressure Hg lamp. The purpose was to test the effectiveness of the lamp in irradiation using fluorene spiked solution as substrate. A 700 ml volume of fluorene solution of 0.002 mg/l was irradiated batch-wise at 1, 3, 6, 12, 18, 24 and 48 h. Orthodox–Evangelical relationships are dominated by proselytism (at least in Eastern Europe and in the former Soviet Union). This is understood as church conversion practiced through unfair means among people who are already Christians, belonging to so-called “historical churches.” However, beyond it, there is a real potential for cooperation using moral values as a starting point. As there is an increasing disagreement between the Orthodox and mainline Protestant on moral values, the Orthodox and Evangelicals might increase their cooperation as they witness traditional values of Christianity.
