The subject of this thesis belongs to the topic of machine learning or, specifically, to the development of advanced methods for regression analysis, clustering, and anomaly detection. Progress in advanced radiative transfer models (RTMs) led to an improved understanding of reflectance (R) and sun-induced chlorophyll fluorescence (SIF) emission throughout the leaf and canopy. Among advanced canopy RTMs that have been recently modified to deliver SIF spectral outputs are the energy balance model SCOPE and the 3D models DART and FLIGHT. The downside of these RTMs is that they are computationally expensive, which makes them impractical in routine processing, such as scene generation and retrieval applications. A multimodal chat-bot based information technology system

The proposed system integrates chat-bot and speech recognition technologies in order to build a versatile, user-friendly, virtual assistant guide with information retrieval capabilities. The system is adaptable to the user needs of mobility being also usable on different devices (i.e. PDAs, Smartphone). The system has been implemented on a Qtek 9090 with Windows Mobile 2003 and a simulation for the cultural heritage domain is here presented.

Si espone qui la sperimentazione di un metodo di analisi e valutazione del danno ispirato all’approccio sociologico di N. Nuhmann (1990), che definisce l’ambiente per differenza rispetto ai processi comunicativi che informano il sistema sociale e quindi il danno ambientale come difetto della comunicazione tra sub-sistemi. In questa logica la valutazione del risarcimento è stata condotta con riferimento al rapporto verticale tra unità inquinanti e supporto naturale e orizzontale tra i diversi sub-sistemi che comunicano “sull’ambiente”.
