We discuss and introduce to the schedulingeld a novel, qualitative optimization model - scheduling under the network of temporo-spatial proximity relationships.We introduce a half perimeter proximity measure as an objective of scheduling.We present and evaluate an incremental Sequence Pair neighborhood evaluation algorithm, applicable to both scheduling and rectangle packing problems in VLSI industry. Recent studies suggest that depressed patients present specific impairment in mental rotation. The paper introduces the mechanism of neuroplasticity, specifically the ability of the brain to develop new neurons (neurogenesis) and new connections between nerve cells (synaptogenesis) and to develop glial cells. The author presents the evidence proving the existence of neuroplasticity by giving examples of people with serious brain damage who function normally and, above all, of people living with almost no brain or with one hemisphere, or with post-stroke defects. Many see these digital self-portraits as markers for the spread of narcissism or signs of the blurring of limits between the public and private spheres.
