Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt un izanalizēt iedzīvotāju ienākuma nodokļa principus, veikt iedzīvotāju ienākuma nodokļa piemērošanas analīzi algas nodokļa maksātājiem un saimnieciskās darbības veicējiem, izpētīt un izvērtēt iedzīvotāju ienākuma nodokļa plānošanas un prognozēšanas iespējas, izdarīt secinājumus un izstrādāt priekšlikumus nodokļa piemērošanā un plānošanā, un prognozēšanā. Latvijā ir noteikti 15 dažāda veida nodokļi, kurus uzliek saskaņā ar kokrētā nodokļa likumu, un kuri veido Latvijas nodokļu un nodevu sistēmu. Proscribing the Nordic Resistance Movement in Finland: Analyzing the Process and its Outcome

The Nordic Resistance Movement (NRM) was banned in Finland in 2020 after a court process lasting more than two and half years. This article details how effective the ban has been and how the organization has adapted to the ban, both during the process and after the verdict. The NRM has followed strategies similar to previous proscription cases, especially National Action in the UK in 2016, with whom NRM members discussed and shared experiences before the banning process began. Adaptation has meant new organizational forms and the founding of new associations. Tässä pro gradu -tutkielmassa tarkastellaan Pajalan ja Pykeijän kylteissä esiintyvien kieliresurssien muodostamia kielimaisemia. Tavoitteena on selvittää, millaiset kielimaisemat kieliresurssien käytön perusteella Pajalaan ja Pykeijään muodostuu. Lisäksi tutkielmassa selvitetään Pajalassa esiintyvistä vähemmistökielistä meänkielen ja Pykeijässä kveenin kielen käyttöä kielimaisemissa. Vähemmistökielten kohdalla tarkastellaan niiden asemaa ja suhdetta muihin kielimaisemissa käytettyihin resursseihin nähden. Position sensitive plastic scintillator for beta particle detection

A new segmented plastic scintillator detector Tuike has been developed for recoil-beta tagging experiments at the Accelerator Laboratory of the University of Jyväskylä. The detector consists of individual plastic scintillator bars arranged in two orthogonal layers, and the scintillation light is detected using silicon photomultipliers. Performance of the new detector was tested using fusion-evaporation reaction 40Ca(36Ar, pn)74Rb, and the results are discussed here. It was found that for beta particles seen in the main silicon detector, Tuike can tag high-energy beta particles with a 48(10)% efficiency. Forest planning at the landscape level has the potential to become a large intractable problem. In Finland, Metsähallitus (the state enterprise that manages federally owned land) creates strategic plans to determine the appropriate harvest level. While these plans are feasible, they are not implementable in practice as the harvests are scattered temporally and spatially. Requiring that harvests be organized both temporally and spatially for practical implementation can result in an intractable problem. New practices used to elaborate wine lead to an increase of wine spoilage due to microorganisms. That is why, new technics have to be developed to quantify these microorganisms accurately, quickly and with low costs. The main wine spoilages are due to acetic acid bacteria (AAB) (A. aceti, A. pasteurianus, G. oxydans and Ga. liquefaciens) and Brettanomyces bruxellensis development. AAB transforms ethanol to acetic acid while B. bruxellensis transforms hydroxycinnamic acids to ethyl phenols (EP) (unpleasant odor molecules). Improved calculations of β decay backgrounds to new physics in liquid xenon detectors

We present high-precision theoretical predictions for the electron energy spectra for the ground-state to ground-state β decays of 214Pb, 212Pb, and 85Kr most relevant to the background of liquid xenon dark matter detectors. The effects of nuclear structure on the spectral shapes are taken into account using large-scale shell-model calculations. Final spectra also include atomic screening and exchange effects. The impact of nuclear structure effects on the 214Pb and 212Pb spectra below ≈100 keV, pertinent for several searches for new physics, are found to be comparatively larger than those from the atomic effects alone. We find that the full calculation for 214Pb (212Pb) predicts 15.0%–23.2…
