Thermoelectric radiation detector based on a superconductor-ferromagnet junction : Calorimetric regime

We study the use of a thermoelectric junction as a thermal radiation detector in the calorimetric regime, where single radiation bursts can be separated in time domain. We focus especially on the case of a large thermoelectric figure of merit ZT affecting significantly, for example, the relevant thermal time scales. This work is motivated by the use of hybrid superconductor/ferromagnet systems in creating an unprecedentedly high low-temperature ZT even exceeding unity. Tutkielmassa määritettiin uuden suprajohtavan kvantti-interferenssilaitteen ja 256 pikseliä sisältävän sirun transitioreunailmaisimien ominaisuuksia. Family members bereaved by their loved ones’ suicidal death normally undergo a complicated and lengthy bereavement process. In this qualitative case study, we explored longitudinal changes in the suicide bereavement process by applying assimilation analysis, based on the Assimilation Model (AM) and the Assimilation of Problematic Experiences Scale (APES), to longitudinal interview data collected from two Chinese suicide-bereaved individuals within the first 18 months after their loss. Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli tutkia Pirkanmaan Hoitokodissa vuosina 2000−2013 pidettyjen musiikkiterapiasururyhmien asiakkaita, musiikkiterapian menetelmiä sekä niiden toimivuutta ja keskusteluteemoja sekä luoda musiikkiterapiasururyhmämalli, jota voitaisiin hyödyntää saattohoidossa terveydenhuollon eri sektoreilla. Tavoitteena oli saada saattohoidossa kuolleiden omaisilta tietoa musiikkiterapian käytöstä surutyön tukena. Nuorten koulupoissaolot : kurkistus koulupoissaolokäsitteisiin ja -tekijöihin sekä tukitoimiin

Tutkimukset osoittavat, että pitkittyneet koulupoissaolot aiheuttavat ongelmia nuorille, vanhemmille, kouluille ja koko yhteiskunnalle. Koulupoissaolotyyppien avulla voidaan tunnistaa nuoresta, huoltajasta ja koulusta johtuva poissaolo. Koulupoissaolojen taustalla voi olla jopa 60 eri syytekijää, joita on tärkeä oppia tunnistamaan. Kolmitasoisen tuen mallia voidaan käyttää apuna koulupoissaoloihin puuttumisessa. Koulupoissaoloihin on tärkeä puuttua varhaisessa vaiheessa niin koulupoissaolojen kuin koulupudokkuuden näkökulmista. peerReviewed
