This study deals with professional representations. The goal is to show the representation of hygiene by health care workers: Nurses (N) and Health Care Aides (HCA). Method follows the BSC (Bases Cognitive Schemes) procedure, explicative interviews substitute to the evaluation task. An analysis of associative words points out that for HCA hygiene is associated with acts linked with corporal hygiene and with two synonymous: no trace, no germ Discussion underlines the interest of this method for professional representations studies and nosocomial infections strength.
The Car Resequencing Problem with Pull-Off Tables

AbstractThe car sequencing problem determines sequences of different car models launched down a mixed- model assembly line. To avoid work overloads of workforce, car sequencing restricts the maximum occurrence of labor-intensive options, e.g., a sunroof, by applying sequencing rules. We consider this problem in a resequencing context, where a given number of buffers (denoted as pull-off tables) is available for rearranging a stirred sequence. The problem is formalized and suited solution procedures are developed. A lower bound and a dominance rule are introduced which both reduce the running time of our graph approach. Finally, a real-world resequencing setting is investigated.

This paper is based on results obtained during the project Vienergy (Interreg Italia-Malta programme 2007-2013) and contains data on the potential energy generation of biomass residues following pruning from vineyards located within the provinces of Trapani and Palermo. Analysis of the energy potential, following microgasification tests and heat production related to the biomass, included a preliminary mapping of vineyards in the area and an assessment of the total biomass available. Starting from the definitions of resilience, this paper considers the urgent need for a trans-scalar and transdisciplinary approach to mitigate the errors of the past and to prevent the effects of global climate change. At an urban scale, vegetation performs ecosystem services aimed at urban resilience, thus contributing to increasing the quality of life. It reflected on the results of planning choices made in the past following natural events and we know that today are much worse than the events themselves. Through a case study, the paper illustrates some solutions for urban regeneration that looks at the ecological-environmental component.

This dissertation applies and develops the broad framework of environmental and ecological justice. It is a new relational approach to justice, whose elements have been introduced by David Schlosberg in his works on environmental and ecological justice. The present study provides a systematisation of the framework and applies it to contemporary environmental topics using the methods of conceptual analysis and case-implication critique.
