No Brasil, são raros os trabalhos que apresentam os métodos e as técnicas empregados na documentação deste tipo de vestígio arqueológico. A modular knowledge representation framework for conversational agents is presented. The approach has been realized to suit the situation awareness paradigm. The modularity of the framework makes possible the composition of specific modules that deal with particular features, simplifying both the chatbot design process and its smartness. We propose a framework for the representation of visual knowledge in a robotic agent, with special attention to the understanding of dynamic scenes. According to our approach, understanding involves the generation of a high level, declarative description of the perceived world. Developing such a description requires both bottom-up, data driven processes that associate symbolic knowledge representation structures with the data coming out of a vision system, and top-down processes in which high level, symbolic information is in its turn employed to drive and further refine the interpretation of a scene. Congenital infiltrating lipomatosis of the face, first described by Beck in 1836, is a rare condition of unknown etiology, characterized by widespread infiltration of mature fat cells in the context of tissues softening of the face, with associated consequent bone deformities. The present work describes an approach for detecting faulty sensors in Wireless Sensor Network and for correcting their corrupted data. ADV measurements of velocity distributions in a gravel-bed flume

Velocity measurements carried out by an acoustic doppler velocimeter (ADV) in a rectangular laboratory flume having a gravel bed are presented. The velocity profiles are measured in six verticals of the channel cross-section having an increasing distance (from 4 to 38.5 cm) from the flume wall. The experimental runs are carried out for five different bed arrangements, characterized by different concentrations of coarser elements, and for the two conditions of small- and large-scale roughness.
