The basis are stories about this written by internationally adopted people over 18 years of age. Jeg håper at oppgaven kan bidra til å fjerne fordommer mot BDSM gjennom kunnskapsbasert forskning og være til hjelp for psykologer, terapeuter, leger, sexologiske rådgivere og andre i hjelpeapparatet slik at de kan møte klienter/pasienter som praktiserer BDSM på en god måte uten fordommer og stigma.
