Quality culture at Nordic universities

This study aimed to investigate common features and ways of understanding quality culture (QC) within higher education institutions (HEIs) in Nordic countries. While the concept of QC is commonly accepted and often used, its meaning is not always clear. This paper focuses on how Nordic universities frame QC in their internal documentation. The Nordic context was chosen due to the close cooperation on quality issues that characterise HEIs within the Nordic region. The discussion section of this paper outlines QC in relation to quality assurance (QA) among HEIs within the European and Nordic regions. Mental toughness in elite and sub-elite female soccer players

Mental toughness (MT) is seen as an important psychological factor in the athletic success of elite athletes. Research on the subject has usually concerned male athletes. Our purpose was to investigate whether there are differences in mental toughness between female players who compete in an elite league and those who play at lower levels. In total, 298 female soccer players (M = 20.7 years, SD = 3.7 years) from three levels of Norwegian soccer responded to the Sports Mental Toughness Questionnaire. Darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 32 lappusēm. Tas satur 18 attēlus, 30 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem un 1 pielikumu. Darba mērķis: Novērtēt redzes komfortu mēneša kontaktlēcu lietotājiem. Darba uzdevumi: Noskaidrot kontaktlēcu lietotāju ieradumus kontaktlēcu lietošanas režīmam, kā arī novērtēt faktoru ietekmi uz diskomforta sajūtu un redzes kvalitātes samazināšanos. Metode: Anketa kontaktlēcu lietotājiem latviešu valodā un sastāv no 15 jautājumiem. Izanalizētas tika 96 anketas. Rezultāti: Tika iegūts, ka būtiski faktori, kas ietekmē redzes kvalitātes samazināšanos un diskomforta sajūtu, ir kontaktlēcu kopšanas šķīdums un smēķēšana. Through this work we carry out a dissertation on the phenomenon of economic violence, as a manifestation of gender violence, in the family context, and, especially, from the perspective of the divorce framework. We will analyze the harmful effects that it produces, the damage that it triggers on the most basic and essential interests of the family, and its use as a control mechanism by the aggressors. In addition to a vision of the different mechanisms that, enshrined in our legal system, serve to distort it.

I denne oppgaven har jeg studert nye innovative bedrifter på Agder, som er etablert i perioden 2009 til 2013. Jeg ønsket å studere dette temaet for å finne ut av hvem det er som er med på å løfte Agder- regionen «opp og frem». Populasjonen jeg har studert er bedrifter som har fått landsdekkende etablerertilskudd fra Innovasjon Norge i tidsrommet 2009 til 2013.
