Tutkielman tarkoitus on selvittää, kuinka varallisuuden arvonmuutokset voivat vaikuttaa kotitalouksien kulutukseen. Ilmiön tunteminen on erityisen tärkeää keskuspankin likviditeetin säätelyn kannalta, koska kotitalouksien varallisuusvaikutus rahapolitiikan välittymismekanismin osana toimii sitä vahvistavasti. Tässä tutkielmassa tarkasteltavana on suomalaisten kotitalouksien neljännesvuosittainen kokonaisaineisto aikavälillä q4/1997-q3/2010. Asuntojen lyhyen aikavälin bruttovarallisuusvaikutukseksi eli kotitalouksien kulutuksen joustoksi asuntovarallisuuden arvonmuutosten suhteen estimoitiin 0.14-0.15. Antipredatory function of head shape for vipers and their mimics.

Most research into the adaptive significance of warning signals has focused on the colouration and patterns of prey animals. However, behaviour, odour and body shape can also have signal functions and thereby reduce predators' willingness to attack defended prey. European vipers all have a distinctive triangular head shape; and they are all venomous. Several non-venomous snakes, including the subfamily Natricinae, commonly flatten their heads (also known as head triangulation) when disturbed. The adaptive significance of this potential behavioural mimicry has never been investigated. Heat shock proteins (HSPs), also known as “stress proteins,” are among the highly conserved and immunogenic proteins shared among diverse groups of microbial agents and mammals [1]. Heat and other types of stressful stimuli can increase the cellular expression of HSPs. These proteins have been categorized into different families according to their molecular mass, for example, HSP110, HSP90, HSP70, HSP60, HSP40, HSP20-30, and HSP10 [1–3]. For uniformity, guidelines for the nomenclature of various human HSP families have been proposed [4]. L'articolo analizza il teatro di narrazione italiano, approfondendo in particolare i casi di Marco Baliani e Ascanio Celestini, alla luce del peculiare rapporto tra diegesi e mimesi che caratterizza questo genere spettacolare. L'intento è dimostrare come entrambi i procedimenti siano sempre attivi in questo teatro, pur in diverse proporzioni, e come il procedimento mimetico vi si attui con modalità specifiche, riconducibili alla sineddoche e alla metonimia, diverse o contrapposte rispetto alla mimesi del tradizionale teatro drammatico, basato sulla "piena" imitazione del personaggio.
