Wspieranie nauczania języków mniejszości na przykładzie szkółki piłkarskiej z językiem niemieckim w Chrząstowicach na Opolszczyźnie

The artide presents a local initiative of the German minority in Chrząstowice, which encourages children and youths to pursue a two-way activity, that is learning a minority language and actively spending free time outdoors. The author describes the functions of supporting minority languages and the parents’ motivation to let their children attend classes at the football academy. The study was conducted using the following research methods: individual in-depth interview (IDI) with the founder of the football academy and a ąuestionnaire survey filled in individually by the parents.

For decades, soil geography has beenmainly a qualitative and descriptive discipline. There are nowtechnologies and mathematical tools available that allow formalizing soil geography in more quantitative terms. In this paper, the distribution and diversity of the soils of Europe are analyzed using GIS tools and pedodiversity algorithms. Soil data were taken from the European Soil Database (V2.0) and computed within the spatial framework of the Biogeographical Regions of Europe (BGRE) as defined by the European Environmental Agency (EEA) on the basis of climate and vegetation. Šajā darbā kritiski izvērtēta grupu tiesību izpratne Vila Kimlikas filozofijā. Vispārējā cilvēktiesību deklarācija bija nozīmīgs mēģinājums aizsargāt minoritāšu tiesības. Tomēr cilvēktiesības nav spējīgas atbildēt uz virkni jautājumu, kas izriet no kultūrdaudzveidības. Šajā darbā tiek pamatots, ka tradicionālās cilvēktiesības ir nepieciešams papildināt ar grupu tiesībām. Turklāt tiek izvērtētas Kimlikas teorijas praktiskā pielietojuma iespējas Latvijā.

PurposeThis paper discusses the challenges that two doctoral researchers faced while researching religious minorities and women in a culturally sensitive society such as Pakistan. Their shared interest in sensitive topics related to gender and minorities in Pakistan led both researchers to collaborate in this study to provide a better understanding of issues in qualitative research in the same research context. Abstract Background In Europe, increases in HCV infection have been observed over the last two decades in MSM, making them a key population for recently acquired HCV. Alternative combinations of direct-acting antiviral agents against early HCV infection need to be assessed. Patients and methods In this pilot trial, MSM with recently acquired genotype 1 or 4 HCV infection were prospectively included and received 8 weeks of oral grazoprevir 100 mg and elbasvir 50 mg in a fixed-dose combination administered once daily. Iekļaujošas sociālā dzimuma normas kā apdraudējums heteronormatīvām pārliecībām un sociālā dzimuma identitātei

Pētījumā tika prognozēts, ka informācija par pāreju no heteronormatīvām uz iekļaujošām sociālā dzimuma normām radīs apdraudējumu tikai vīriešiem ar izteiktām heteronormatīvām pārliecībām un augstu identificēšanās pakāpi ar dzimuma grupu, kas rezultēsies paaugstinātā dzimuma esencializēšanā (1. hipotēze) un negatīvākā attieksmē pret dzimuma un seksuālajām minoritātēm (2. hipotēze). Lai pārbaudītu izvirzītās hipotēzes, tika veiktas divas faktoriālās dispersiju analīzes (2x2x2x2 ANOVA). Abas hipotēzes tika noraidītas, bet mainīgo lielumu savstarpējās saistības norādīja uz to, ka tomēr ir pamats sagaidīt apdraudējuma radītu pretreakciju noteiktā cilvēku grupā.
