Scanning electron microscopy revealed that-as is common in this family of the Hemiptera-the eggs of the green stink bug Acrosternum (Chinavia) marginatum are roughly barrel-shaped and possess at their apical pole a row of slender extensions, the aero-micropylar processes. The outer surface of the eggshell carries hexagonally arranged pits. The analysis of cross-fractured eggshells showed that the pits have slender basal extensions with transverse diaphragms. When scanning electron micrographs of the egg surface of A. marginatum are viewed upside down, the perception flips and the pits appear as elevations to all observers addressed. The lace-bug genus Pseudophatnoma was described for P. corniculata from the Riau Archipelago in Indonesia, and because of its morphological characteristics the genus was placed in the subfamily Cantacaderinae of the family Tingidae (Blote 1945).

First country records of two burrower bugs, Chilocoris laevicollis , and Ch . umbricola (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Cydnidae) from Gabon (Central Africa) are presented. The study was based on the specimens collected by Dr. V. Aellen, a well-known Swiss speleologist, taken from two caves near Lastoursville in the Gabonese Republic. Diagnostic characters for both recorded species are provided, and data on their biology and distribution are summarized.

Typhlodromips jurmoensis ; (Acari: Mesostigmata: Amblyseiinae), a new species from the archipelago of SW Finland

A new species belonging to the genus Typhloromips De Leon, 1965 is described. It was collected from Calluna moorland soil on Jurmo, a remote island in the SW archipelago of Finland. Typhlodromips herbarius (Wainstein, 1960) is considered a senior synonym of T.tenuis (Westerboer, 1963), syn.n. A key is given to related species with a similar spermathecal structure. peerReviewed

Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvittää, millainen merkitys sairaalaopetusinterventiolla oli ollut oppilaille äitien kokemusten mukaan. Tutkimus kartoittaa lisäksi, millaiset tapahtumat koulussa johtivat sairaalakoulujaksolle. Tutkimus toteutettiin laadullisena haastattelututkimuksena. Aineisto koostuu neljän sellaisen äidin syvähaastatteluista, joiden lapsi oli ollut sairaalakoulussa lukuvuonna 2013–2014 sosioemotionaalisten pulmien vuoksi. Aineisto analysoitiin käyttämällä aineistolähtöistä sisällönanalyysia. Finnish schools struggle with problem behaviour and need new interventions which are effective, acceptable, and can be implemented with high fidelity in general classrooms. The aim of this study was to examine the effects of Check in check out (CICO) support in decreasing the disruptive behaviours of general education primary school pupils.
