The accuracy of harmonic measurement firstly depends on the used instrument transformers for voltage and current sensing. Current transformers effects on the measurement of harmonic active power in LV and MV networks

The harmonic active power is used to determine the location of polluting loads, the direction of harmonic power flow and to estimate how consequential a certain current harmonic source is. The highest uncertainties, when measuring harmonic active power, are introduced by the current and voltage transducers. This paper presents experimental results which show the impact of current transformers (CTs) on the accuracy of the harmonic power measurements. Uncertainty management in the measurements of low frequency magnetic fields

The paper deals with low-frequency magnetic field measurements carried out by using a broadband and isotropic instrument. These measurements are characterized by very high uncertainty values, which imply a high risk of wrong decisions when there is the need to establish if a site complies or does not comply with specified emission limits. To reduce this risk, we decided to perform the so called “uncertainty management” that is the discipline of optimizing the cost of a measurement versus the uncertainty target. The paper deals with low-frequency magnetic field measurements, with regard to exposure of human beings, carried out by using a broadband and isotropic instrument. These measurements are characterized by a very high uncertainty values if compared with the ones usually related to other electrical measurements. A Monte Carlo-aided design of a modular 241Am-Be neutron irradiator

Monte Carlo studies aimed at designing a modular 241Am-Be neutron irradiator for testing neutron detectors and personal dosimeters and processing large volume samples are reported in this study. The evaluation of the shapes and thicknesses of the moderator and shielding materials was carried out by a MCNP5 Monte Carlo simulation code. The reliability of the simulation was experimentally verified by the activation of gold foils and TLD dosimeter measurements in an irradiation cell placed at the center of the test configuration.

L'A. esamina la questione dell'effettività delle misure antirapina, muovendo da un'analisi dei più significativi arresti della recente giurisprudenza di merito e di legittimità. Rifiutando astratte posizioni di principio, che dilaterebbero oltremodo l'obbligazione datoriale, la Suprema Corte nella pronuncia in commento ha declinato l'obbligo gravante sul datore di lavoro ex art. 2087 c.c. alla luce del canone di ragionevolezza.
La contemporanea pendenza del giudizio di merito, dell'appello ex art. 310 c.p.p. e della nuova richiesta di misura cautelare.
